Paso Robles, CA · $$
We have always sought to create wines that are a break from conventionality. This departure from the norm has led us down winemaking paths that follow the same philosophies we live our life by. Maintain an adventurous spirit, seek knowledge from every experience, and be honest with yourself and your mission. We welcome guests to make a reservation and visit us at our tasting room and winery, located in Paso Robles’ Tin City. We offer tastings of our current releases five days a week, Thursday through Monday.
“Wonderful spot known for their Pinots and Syrahs. $25 for a 5-wine flight plus one bonus flight.”
“Our first winery on our Paso Robles adventure and I'm so glad we stopped here first. Welcoming, informative and gave suggestions for other places to go on our trip! Wines were delicious!”
“Aaron wines is one of my top 2 most favorite wineries up in Paso Robles. They are primarily a Rhone varietal winery and Aaron Jackson makes the best wines of anyone up here. I absolutely love the Petit Syrah, Syrah and GSM blends that he makes. You must come and visit them. They also have amazing Pinot Noirs that are inky and delicious The staff is friendly, courteous, and they thoroughly understand wine. Aaron is a mastercraftsman when it comes to winemaking. They're all down-to-earth people and really cool. I highly recommend you come and visit them.”
“Extremely high-end wines representing typical vitals you will find in Paso Robles. Their mix of syrah and petite syrah is one of the best you will have. The tasting is in a room is located within the tin city area of Paso Robles, A fun and tightly knit collection of restaurants and wineries. You get to meet the owner or the winemaker for tastings which is a huge benefit. I was able to get immediate tasting without reservations on a weekday but I have never been there on a weekend so I do not know how that would work. This was an overall very positive experience and fun to watch a growing winery do their thing.”
“My wife and I joined the Aaron Wines club about a year ago, and it’s easily become one of our favorite memberships in Paso. The hospitality is second to none - Katie and the entire tasting room team are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always make our visits feel special. Aaron built his reputation as the Petite Sirah OG in Paso back in the early 2000s, and his Petite Sirah still stands out as one of the best in the region. But what’s impressed us most is how strong his entire lineup is - from the crisp, structured whites under the Aequorea label to the elegant Rhône-style reds under the Aaron label like Citizen, Mauka, and Trespasser. The Tin City tasting room is welcoming and stylish, complete with a vinyl setup where the team curates music based on guests’ tastes - such a fun, personal touch. Their wine club events are the best we’ve attended with amazing wine, great food, and an awesome + diverse community of wine club members. We’re already looking forward to the album cover costume themed fall pickup party and can’t recommend Aaron Wines enough!”
