“Get the guided tour. $10 a person as of February 26. It was totally worth it and it includes a token for a free pint. Tour guide was very detailed and informed and answered many of our questions. It was a fascinating process. We came just before noon and were able to get into the first tour of the day without much of a wait. This was on a Friday. People in the bar and gift shop were very friendly. Take a picture of the stack of kegs near the parking lot!”

There was a bartender with blonde hair and fun Mardi Gras nails who nailed it with her special mixes, I just didn’t catch her name! “My husband and I made a stop here on our way to NOLA a week ago and did the tour. It was super laid back - only 6 of us on the tour. The $10 tour comes with a drink token for a pint of your choice beer - or you can upgrade to a flight of 6 flavors for a few extra dollars (maybe $5?). My husband is the beer drinker in our relationship - I’m not a big fan, so imagine my surprise when I walked in and saw MARGARITAS in the slushy machine! They had regular, and strawberry! I upgraded my tour drink token to a margarita for $8 (I think that amount is correct?) and it was super yummy!!! They make it with rum that they have made just for Abita! Day. Made. The taproom is really nice - lots of flavors of beer to choose from, plenty of tables, board games, etc. It would definitely be a cool place to hang out if you lived nearby! My hubby bought a shirt and some other gear and we had to head on south, but it was definitely worth the stop - especially if you’re a fan of Abita, and especially if you like a good, frozen margarita! ❤️🍹”
