At the heart of the Glendale Boulevard strip in Atwater Village, All’Acqua (which means Atwater in Italian) offers a Pan-Italian menu with crowd pleasing wood-fired pizzas, house-made pastas, salads and main courses. Complementing the vast menu is a carefully selected and fairly priced California and Italian wine and tap beer list as well as a hand crafted cocktail menu and full bar, All’Acqua has something for everyone. The brushed wood table tops, caged Edison light chandeliers and high pitched, wood-beamed ceilings give the space a warm, inviting, convivial feel.
“Tried the hamburger at All'Acqua and it was honestly🔥. Juicy ground beef burger, delicious sauce, perfectly grilled onions, and crispy fries on the side. Super satisfying without trying too hard. Best part? It’s only $10 on Wednesdays and comes with fries Definitely worth stopping by if you want a solid burger with real flavor. Also great service, amazing staff and the owner opens the doors for us customers like wow you can't beat it!!”
“I have been living at water village for about 6 years now and this is my first time coming to this restaurant!! I truly do not know how I have gone 6 years without coming here!! I started off with the calamari, super good, crunchy and fresh! The sauce adds to the flavor that it already has (no needed in my opinion) The gnocchi's plate was super delicious, creamy and tomatoey! Can never go wrong with steak and fries, but their seasoning on the fries are so delicious, as simple as it is, you don't want to miss this!!! I forgot the name of this dessert, I think it's a lava cake with ice cream top but I only got this because the service here was excellent!! I will definitely be back very soon! Great service, great atmosphere and amazing food! Enjoy!”
“Reservations definition recommended. Parking is tight and the restaurant is not big. Because the food is VERY GOOD, it's busy. We did have reservations for party of 10. Ordered pizzas, pasta, salads, shared so got a taste of everything . And everything was fantastic. Service excellent. They accommodate a baby with us, didn't need a high chair so don't know if they offer, the parents had a seat/ tray that attached to the table. The restaurant itself is just like the picture , simple, nothing fancy but comfy.”
“I am not the biggest fan of Italian food but wow the food here was top notch! You’re going heavy on carbs when you eat Italian food but there were definitely some opportunities to finesse your way to a low carb meal if that is your preference. Everything tasted so good and I will definitely be back there! Service was good but I’d love it if it was a bit faster HOWEVER the place was full so I can see why it felt like we were waiting to get the waiters attention at times. Still, no major issues with service. Atmosphere was definitely lively, the place was full of people, it was a little too crammed indoors for my taste, not a major issue though. There is a small parking lot but it was full while we were there so some of us had to find street parking. We were there for peak hours.”
“Returned after a six to eight year gap since my last visit. It's become a reliable neighborhood restaurant not the destination it was when it first opened. There is a definite effort to provide good service but in a non-remarkable way, without a particular style of its own. Certainly plates are cleared quickly and there is an eagerness from the waiter (in our case a young actress trying to make a living from a job that is not her calling). The food is decent. My frutta di mare pasta was what one would expect but without any signature element to it, a good off-the-shelf dish. For appetizers, I had bruschetta with prosciutto and fresh mozzarella, With very good toasted bread imbued with olive oil, which they willingly restocked. The manager came by to check on us half way through the meal and make sure we were happy in a rudimentary sort of way. To sum up I would give al-Aqa a "sure value" rating but certainly not a specifically memorable experience. I would go there again with neither protest nor excitement.”
