Angel Fire Catering is part of the Angel Fire Resort, a family-oriented ski destination offering dining, shops, lodging, and seasonal activities. “So this was our first time here, and took granddaughters for ski lessons. About the last day of snow, they made snow for the kid lessons. We did snow tubing the next day, and the snow they made was melting so fast, the top layer was ice. But still lots of fun! The resort is beautiful and well laid out, lots of levels, shops and places to eat. Will return earlier in the season, but went on Spring break. It's an absolutely gorgeous area, though very dry year.”
“Awesome ski resort. Food and shops available. Rental properties around resort available for your time there. Lots of different types of slopes. Some easier than others but a wide range of options. There’s also side areas with ramps and rails on each main slope. Would highly recommend going here for a vacation!”
“Angel Fire Resort has become our family's go-to ski spot for the past two years, and we keep coming back! It delivers some of the best parts of Rocky Mountain skiing—long, enjoyable runs that feel rewarding—without the sky-high prices you see at bigger Colorado resorts. The lift tickets and overall costs are much more reasonable, which makes it so much easier for family trips. It's perfect for helping kids learn to ski. The runs are long enough to keep things fun and entertaining for beginners and intermediates, without being overwhelming. The resort is proactive with snowmaking, so conditions are reliable even if Mother Nature is stingy. While it's a smaller mountain, it has everything you need: good variety of terrain, a solid ski school, convenient setup, and a relaxed, family-friendly vibe. We've had a great time every visit—short lines, friendly staff, and plenty of space to enjoy the mountain together. Highly recommend Angel Fire if you're looking for an affordable, stress-free ski vacation with the kids!”
“This was our third skiing trip to angel fire and it was great. The slopes were well maintained and the lifts ran smoothly. On Saturday it got a bit busy, 5-10min wait in line for the lift, but on Sunday and Monday we practically had the mountain to ourselves. Lift ticket prices are not the cheapest, but we offset the cost by getting a last minute deal on a condo in the resort. The resort has a free shuttle that takes you from the condo to the lift. The wait time for the shuttle was 30 sec to 5min. Overall, excellent experience, highly recommend!”
“I cannot say enough good things about the adaptive instructions my daughter recieved. We have struggled to find ski lessons that are all inclusive. The instructor went above and beyond to give her confidence to ski. He worked with us to help us help her, (so we could continue to work with her after the lesson) had multiple options to try, and made it fun for her and us. This is the place I would send to any of my parents of special needs kids. It was easy to book, and affordable. You can tell, the instructor and lead instructor are passionate about making skiing accessible and fun.”
