Get ready for a hands-on day at the Farm, where curiosity leads the way and every moment invites discovery.Our “Farmer for a Day” experience welcomes young guests into the rhythm of Ashbourne Farms, offering an immersive introduction to life on the land. Guided by our Farm Leader, with over 25 years of agricultural teaching experience, children will step into the role of a real member of our farm team.From gathering and washing eggs to feeding and grooming our animals, and harvesting fresh vegetables straight from the garden, each stop is led by the people who care for this land every day. Along the way, children will learn not just how things are done, but why it matters.It’s a morning shaped by movement, learning, and connection to the natural world.Please have your child dressed in play clothes they don’t mind getting a little dirty, along with closed-toe shoes. This is a true farm experience, and the event will take place rain or shine.For parents, a shaded space beneath the trees will be available if you choose to stay and enjoy the surroundings.Time: 9:30 AM to 11:00 AMSpaces are intentionally limited to keep the experience personal and engaging. We encourage you to reserve your spot in advance. Please arrive at 3801 Old Westport Rd and follow signs. Photography and video will be captured at this event.
