Bledsoe Family Winery - Walla Walla

“My neighbor was given a wonderful bottle of the 2023 Cabernet Sauvignon by his client who asked for an honest review. I've worked in the Napa Valley wine industry for years and always love to try something new. Given I'm used to our bold Cabernets, I was pleasantly surprised by this small WA winery. The 23' CS was beautifully bold and balanced, with earthy spice and red berries on the nose. It was light yet full bodied on the palate, in a burst of red fruit and bright acid. It had a nice punch from the tannins, but not too much. This goes wonderfully with food, and surprisingly well with strawberries, which we had as a snack with this wine. It's an easy drinker, one of those wines that are so good you don't even realize you've finished your glass until you go to take an empty sip. But at 14.8% ABV, it'll sneak up on you so don't drink it too fast! I've tried a few other Cabernets from Walla Walla before, and this is by far the best I have tasted to date. I highly recommend their wines to anyone looking for a new winery to check out, and I hope to taste more of their portfolio next time I'm in the area!”

“The service at Bledsoe Family Winery was outstanding! Tabi Johnston was so nice, taking care of both me and my dog on the outdoor patio. The venue was very busy, but Tabi provided fast service, with a big smile the entire time. I definitely recommend stopping by for a tasting, and picking up a few bottles. Go Cougs!!!”

“Very nice tasting room with a good amount of seating available. A fun selection of top notch wine. The ladies that were pouring were very knowledgeable about the grapes and the process that made it into wonderful wine. We really enjoyed the table wine in etched bottles, and will definitely be adopting this tradition for our place!!”

“Reservation process was easy & good. Our breakfast ran a bit long and the staff was kind as we were about 5 minutes late. We chose to sit outside on a nice big couch; enjoying the beautiful day. The tasting fee was $20 for 5 wines. There was only 4 on the tasting sheet - but she started us off with one that wasn't listed. KV was great. She was welcoming, and knowledgeable and fit our group perfectly. I would give her 5 stars. I also really enjoyed the tasting card notes per each wine she brought out. Good details. Honestly tho, the wines were just okay. I wasn't that impressed by them - they kind of just fell flat in terms of flavor. The 1L table wine was probably my favorite, but I wasn't moved enough to buy one.”
