“Very special place! Historic buildings and rooms are so charming!! We lucked out with stunning weather and minimal fog. No A/C but usually not needed. I want to return when it is cold/winter to use the fireplace in room and experience during a different season. Wonderful spa with skilled staff. I wish the spa offered more than just apples, water and tea. Most high end spas also have a little granola or nuts or something with more substance. We have a delicious light lunch after our treatments at spa on a nice shaded patio with a fire pit and lounged by the small sunny pool for a bit the let our relaxation set in. They have a nice upscale restaurant and also more casual restaurant/bar with a slightly more low key menu but still elegant cozy ambiance. The property is protected a bit from wind that often blows in thru the Golden Gate. Stunning views of SF and bridge. Absolutely Loved the wine hour just to sit on the huge porch of main building in the sizable rocking chairs to take in the stunning views. It’s nice that they have a little mercantile store with gifts and essentials as well as light snacks/charcuterie/drinks for purchase.”
“The Cavallo Point Lodge combined a stunning location, with luxurious accommodations and excellent service. I stayed in the contemporary villa and enjoyed one of the most comfortable stays I have had in quite a while. The amenities leave no need unaddressed and the things to do and sights to see are endless. I highly recommend this resort to those who want a moment of pampered serenity.”
“From the moment I arrived, I was mesmerized by how flawless everything was. The hotel sparkled with charm, and the surrounding spot felt like a hidden gem. It’s a dedication shows in every detail-perfectly maintained rooms, immaculate grounds, and a warmth that makes you feel instantly at home. The SPA staff it’s amazing and Each corner radiates care and elegance, turning a simple stay into a fabulous experience I can't wait to relive.”
“Views were stunning. People are so nice. Even though parking a little goofy with the valet the golf carts can get you there. We had the modern room king size room. Couldn’t figure why they gave us ear plugs but after first night figured out. The bathroom is right off the master with big sliding doors. The stool room is open on top but has a door. Can’t hear anything with doors closed. The coffee maker is beyond loud if the other person is still sleeping. Recommend a straight up coffee maker. Super clean. The views. The views. The views.”
“This is our fave hotel in the area and the rooms and service are great. I gave it one less star because it is impossible to find the correct room m because the map they give you is incorrect and even the staff working there admit it’s wrong and frustrating . They need to fix this! It’s a pain to be running/driving all over the property grounds every time we stay there. The spa is so amazing but they need to screen better practitioners and also not rush the night appts out. No one likes to be rushed out after a massage!”
