Center of Effort winery is located in the heart of Edna Valley miles from the Pacific Ocean and is a premium producer of handcrafted estate-grown Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Rhône wines with a passion for quality, sustainability, and exceptional hospitality. We extend a warm invitation to visit our breathtaking estate and indulge in wines crafted to celebrate the natural essence of our fruit. Through meticulous craftsmanship, we aim to showcase the true expressions of our terroir. Please note our visitation policies for the comfort of all guests: * Outside food is not permitted. * Animals are not recommended for our outdoor tasting areas. * Animals are not permitted in any of our indoor spaces with the exception of service animals. * Our special events are 21 years of age and over and no animals allowed.
“Center of Effort has quickly become one of our favorite spots in SLO, and we keep coming back for good reason. The wine is exceptional, some of the best you'll find anywhere in the area. But what really sets this place apart is the people. The staff is personable and professional every single time, and Rob, the hospitality manager, is always so warm and welcoming that he makes every visit feel special. Our server Amy was also wonderful, attentive, friendly, and a big part of why the visit was so enjoyable. The tasting area is spotless and comfortable, with a gorgeous view that makes settling in for an afternoon all too easy. Whether you're a serious wine lover or just looking for a relaxed, beautiful place to spend a few hours, this is the spot. Highly recommend, we'll definitely continue to visit COE.”
“Everything about Center of Effort is perfect. From the warm welcome to the delicious wines and beautiful Edna Valley views. Rob, our host, made the experience approachable and fun. We enjoyed a 5 course tasting menu with wine paintings that rivaled Michelin starred meals. The Chefs love their craft as each presented dishes with authentic joy. The shaved scallop with chili beads and basil oil was outstanding paired with Chardonnay! Can’t wait to go back and be wowed all over again!”

“On December 14th, I visited this winery with my family, and we experienced very slow service, despite it not being crowded. Unfortunately, the wine tasting was the worst part of our day. We decided to leave early and head to another winery in Edna Valley. Although the location and facilities were great, the service left much to be desired.”
