“Alternate Ending is a fantastic spot in Matawan. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the onsite brewery is a huge plus—the quality of their beer is top-notch. They have an impressive selection of draft beers and a great variety of cans to purchase and take home. I was especially impressed by the management; the owner/manager was incredibly polite and clearly cares about customer satisfaction. My only critique is that it can feel a bit cramped during big games, and adding more televisions would definitely improve the experience for sports fans. Overall, a great local brewery!”

“Incredible experience here from the moment we walked in. Alex was our server and very sensitive to the fact my fiancé is vegan. The IPAs are everything you’d want in an IPA. The atmosphere is fun and unique. Movie themed brews. Even though we live close to an hour away we WILL be back for the vegan steak sandwich. I have never tasted a vegan sandwich closer to a philly steak (and believe me I’ve tried many). They were out of the cauliflower bites and handled the situation very well and offered us some To-go beer free of charge. Very generous of them! He really took the time to explain the different beers and history behind them. We had the Amber ale, daddy issues IPA and got a limited edition citrus wheat to go which is what I’m drinking as I write this. We will DEFINITELY be back to try the vegan affogato and bring friends for a movie!!”

“Brew pub \ restaurant \ theater \ art gallery. Great place. And menu covers all you would expect but upscaled quality. Apps, sandwiches, pizza. Large vegan selection. Got the Philly Chunk steak (vg) - wow! fantastic! Also the Nonna's cheese curds (non-vg) also fantastic, the tomato sauce was really good. The Amity beer was light, crisp, with just a hint of fruit.”

“A great brewery well located nearby the highways in Aberdeen, New Jersey. This brewery capitalizes on its history as a movie theater, with incredible interior decor, and a super fun movie theme. All the fun of going to the movies, but with all the flavors of delicious beer and pizza! This is a great night out, and one of my favorite places to visit with friends. All of the beers are incredibly delicious, they have a specialization in lager style. And all of the food is very good, highly recommend the square cut pizzas.”

“We’ve enjoyed this place before, but this experience missed the mark. The gluten-free pizzas were extremely sparse, with minimal sauce and toppings that didn’t reach the edges. At $60 for two pizzas, the quality did not match the price or the online photos.”
