“Dinosaur bbq is one of our families favorite restaurants, esp for my brother and I who live out of town. Our server Alannah was immediately a delight She knew the kitchen staff and menu to a T. Even when we put in a last minute app she made sure it came out first and fast. All our food was excellent,( though the cornbread was a little dry)I wish I had two more stomachs to try more of the menu! We can't wait to come back and hopefully sit with Alannah again just for her excellent company.”

“We were there the day before Mother's Day, so it was extremely busy... but it was a great overall experience. Finding a parking spot took about 20 minutes, as the entire parking lot was filled to capacity with multiple other cars driving around also competing for an open spot. But once we finally got to park and got inside, we were told it'd be a 45 minute wait time. That was expected since it was the Saturday night before Mother's Day. We took a walk along the river directly next to the restaurant (Riverfront park) while we waited. It ended up only being a 25 minute wait, and we had a nice table that had a riverside view. Despite being really busy, our food came out very quickly, exactly as ordered, and it was amazing. Our 4 year old, dinosaur-obsessed, daughter loved the name of the place and the dinosaur coloring page that they gave her. She also liked the dinosaur painting on one of the walls up front... but I think she was expecting more dinosaur-themed stuff inside. (Me too, kiddo.) Overall, it was a great experience. We left happy.”

“From start to finish, our entire experience at Dinosaur Bar-B-Que was outstanding. We had appetizers, drinks, entrees, dessert, and our check—all in under an hour without ever feeling rushed. The staff was incredibly friendly, efficient, and genuinely kind, which made the visit even better. The food was amazing across the board, but the collard greens are truly to die for, and the fried green tomatoes are what keep me coming back again and again. Consistently great service and delicious food—we’ll absolutely be returning. Highly recommend!”

“I was looking forward to stopping in since I used to work here back in the day and always loved the food. From start to finish I was not disappointed. Aly, our server was fantastic. I was with my sister who has a severe nut allergy and Aly sprinted to the kitchen to alert them. Our starter was great, the pickled jalapeños and cucumbers paired perfectly with the deep fried crackers and the smoked sausage. The rest of our food was delicious, the ribs fell off the bone, the pork belly was crispy yet melted in the mouth. The brisket was delicious, and all the sides were great. Definitely try the bbq blue cheese house dressing, it is a star and not to be ignored. I’m so happy we stopped by, what a great highlight to a visit to the Tri-shitty region!”

“The parking lot was big and the location was nice right on the water. The food was just okay. The Dino poutine was the best with the pulled pork on top. The brisket, mac & cheese, and cornbread were also good. The gravy on the mashed potatoes wasn’t great and it kind of tasted burnt. The steamed greens were decent but had a weird aftertaste. The beans were just there, nothing special. The ribs and pork belly weren’t great either. I think it’s a decent spot for a franchise but I probably wouldn’t return for authentic barbecue!”
