Palio Ann Arbor is an Italian restaurant in the Downtown neighborhood of Ann Arbor.
“Took my wife here for her birthday last night, we had an amazing experience. On the reservation, I made mention it was her birthday. Everyone said happy birthday to her. Our server was great and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. There was a person playing the mandolin. My wife had a couple of cocktails that she said where great. I had a few mocktails that were also very good. Their version of toasted ravioli was really good. My wife from St. Louis said she liked it better than toasted ravioli from St. Louis (that is HIGH praise). We both had the chicken parm, and we ate it up. Desert, was also fantastic. We sat on the rooftop. I'm running out of superlatives to describe how much we enjoyed this experience.”
“Ive had food from here a couple times and its always been the best Italian food Ive had. It is definitely worth the extra money that it costs. I keep wanting to go back because theres things on the menu I havent tried yet. My last visit we got an appetizer to share and I got pesto chicken pasta and it was delicious. I dont normally like pesto sauce but there's something different about the sauce here. Anyway, the foods good, good restaurant!!”
“We had heard this was the best Italian in Ann Arbor from the locals, the first night we attempted to go there it was an 1.5 hour wait, we made reservations for the next night. We are so glad we did, everything was outstanding. The ravioli appetizer was wonderful! They are huge fried ravioli on pesto and red maniara sauce. Both chicken dishes were absolutely amazing! Would absolutely go back next time were in town!”
“Beautiful place, first time visiting. We didn’t have reservations and only waited 5 minutes to be seated. Our server was nice but nowhere to be found during the dinner. Appetizers were good but not fantastic, I order Fettuccine Alfredo with Salmon this was absolutely delicious, hubby ordered Chicken Parmesan it was good too.”
“Nice atmosphere, definitely want to come back in the summer and sit on the rooftop. Just came for drinks and apps before our dinner reservation but was a nice space. The bathroom is in an awkward place and I nearly took a waiter out with a full tray. I ordered a beer but they didn’t mention that it was a raspberry flavored variant of that beer and I wasn’t happy about that. When I brought it up, the bartender didn’t make an effort to fix it or even know that it was a different beer. At least know what your bar is offering and giving a heads up. The minimum would have been to replace the beer. Garlic bread and fried ravioli were great but not spectacular. Might come back for the rooftop but not thrilled with the lack of hospitality from the younger bartender who may have been new.”
