Bon Ton

“Bon Ton is a great find. I came for the crawfish boil as it is now springtime and the perfect time for it. Pros: -Kind staff with good personalities (Dylan is great, I’d totally have him again). -Interesting and inventive fusion takes on classic southern dishes, like the pho’ style spiced brine for the boiled Ps. Loved the vietnamese sausage with the craw boil too. -Perfect relaxing atmosphere inside and outside for the food, nostalgic and reminiscent of ‘vietnamese po-boy’ runs back in the day. -Great fries. -Great music perfectly suited to my taste. -Crawfish and catfish both perfectly done, contrast to the usual overcooked crawfish one might typically find in Atlanta. -Open late. Thanks, staff! Cons: - Service a little slow, but unfortunately common for establishments with automatic gratuity, which is something I’d like to support. Granted, I was in the patio section, maybe just extra relaxed out there. - Boiled Ps were not soft, but nice and hot at least. -Maybe more of a preference take, but the hush puppies were not quite crumby enough on the outside, very “ball” esque. - Crawfish did not retain any flavor from the boil seasoning at all, so I was thankful the dish was served with their court-bouillon. Overall, 5/5 is deserved, and I will certainly be back. I have really been craving this exact style of restaurant that’s scarce to find in Georgia, and this is executed well!”

“I had the best experience at Bonton! I love the atmosphere and the ambiance. It’s not to loud either. Food comes out fast. I absolutely love the outside seating area as well. I had the pleasure to eat the Oysters, Heartstop fried fest, smoked crab legs.”

“It's not the prettiest place, but who cares when the food is amazing. My husband and I went for date night. That smoked crab is AMAZING!!!! It was a little more spicy from when I came before but the seasoning was like no other. And what type of seasoning do they put in that butter to dip the crab in. So very tasty. I would go back just for that. And the simple side salad... THE BEST I've ever had. This was my 3rd time with a 1 hour drive and it was totally worth it. Bring back the blue colored margaritas. I ordered the Bon Ton hurricane and It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't order it again. We will be back for sure. I made reservations for 6:15pm on a Saturday with no problem. We did not have to wait.”

“It's a great time with friends or alone. Oysters were great and i appreciate or serve being able to talk specifics of their oysters. We also had smoked crab fingers that were delicious. Ask forty a few slices of extra bread and thank me later. Our server was great, knowledgeable. Out main entrees were great but the hit for me was the ube hand pie. Service was great, food was somewhat spicy. Parking was the hardest part of this adventure. I'll be back”

“AMAZING!! The food is okay, or what I had was ok. We had the gumbo and the shrimp boil to eat. The gumbo didn't have a lot of flavor but I'm thinking it's because the sausage was cut in small pieces and didn't have a lot of shrimp. The boil was under seasoned, but I still ate it because I was hungry. The drinks and bartenders are AMAZING!! This is a place you have to go and have drinks!!! I can't say enough, all I can say is taste for yourself!! It's an amazing place. Great vibe!! Very nice people!!”
