Harvest Tide Steakhouse - Bethany Beach

“We actually chose to eat here twice during our week vacation to Bethany Beach. The steaks were fantastic and cooked perfectly (rare and medium rare). We chose the filet medallions and each had a small topping (scallop, crab cake, and blue cheese). I also had the oysters which were amazing. My kids had the chicken fingers and fries and they were hand breaded chicken which was very light and perfectly cooked with fresh French fries that put thrashers to shame. Overall, amazing food and great wait staff both nights. We enjoyed the food and found it fairly priced. Everything was scratch prepared and came out hot. I can’t say anything bad about Harvest Tide. We liked it so much we came back again so I would say twice in 7 days gets our stamp of approval. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want really good dry aged steaks or seafood.”

“Such a pleasant atmosphere. The decor, music, lighting were all so pleasant. The service was top notch. Our waiter was very attentive and well spoken. The restrooms were clean. Then came the food. Incredible. We started with steamed clams, muscles, and shrimp. The clams had a sauce with earthy, mushroom like tones. Excellent for dipping bread in. Im not a bread eater, but finished a full portion just to enjoy the flavors. The sauce with the muscles had a sharper, lighter flavor. This is also worthy of dipping bread in and enjoying the complex flavor. The shrimp came lightly seasoned with coctail sauce and horseradish. Each bite of each of these were savory. Mid way through our steamed choices, our daughters plate arrived. The french fries were thin and crisp. Perfect size for her to take her time and enjoy dipping them in ketchup. Her steak was a surprisingly thick, 10 oz. filet. Our waiter thoughtfully handed me her steak knife. After cutting my daughter bites if her steak, I turned to see a beautifully presented portion of pan seared salmon in front of me. The tri colored quinoa, carrot, greenbeans, lime, cream lobster, chimchurri the portion sat on was complex and delicious. The aromas were savory. My wifes ribeye was presented perfectly. The temperature was just right. I tried a few bites. Each had layers of enjoyment. The waiter kept the table very tidy the entire dinner. To add some character, the check was served in a cigar box. Thoroughly enjoyed the food, service, and ambiance. Extremely satisfying experience. Highly recommended. We did reserve our table an hour ahead of arrival time online. Pay to park available right next to the build. I recommend choosing the full 2 hrs., as we spent over 1 hr. enjoying the experience.”

As a wedding planner with J Carson Events, I partnered with them for a rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks, and Donna made everything so easy and enjoyable. She let us completely customize the menu and even reimagine the restaurant floor plan to fit the couple’s vision. For the welcome drinks, her team went above and beyond by setting up the night before, which was such a huge help for our load-in. The food and bar displays were beautifully done — thoughtful, elegant, and perfectly executed. Highly recommend Harvest Tide for any event!”

“I must say, this place is a gem! A little on the pricey side, but that’s what to expect in a beach town. The food was absolutely delicious and the cocktails were next level. The bread they serve at the beginning was delicious and warm. Our friends tried the prime rib special for $35 with the seared tuna and Brussel sprouts. The meat was cooked to their preference and was a huge portion! The tuna was delicious but rather small as it is a “starter”. The brussel sprouts were tender and the cheese added a lot to the flavor. I got the halibut out of sheer curiosity! A nice thick filet of white fish, complemented by rice , spinach and a delicious sauce- truly a fantastic meal if you want fish! Highly recommend 10/10 We also tried some local beer and got a Bloody Mary and a bourbon cocktail. The bartender was on point! Very well made cocktails. Our server was amazing and always checked on us for refills and dessert. I am glad we came here before the busy season truly starts- the food came out quick! Another good tip- check out the live music right beside the restaurant!”

“Excellent Food & Service – Harvest Tide, Bethany Beach DE We had a wonderful experience at Harvest Tide. We both ordered the filet with truffle puree mashed potatoes — cooked perfectly to our request with beautiful presentation. The calamari appetizer was very good, and for dessert we shared the pumpkin cheesecake topped with pumpkin sauce and whipped topping — absolutely five-star quality: light, flavorful, and generously sized. We also had a pitcher of white sangria. It was a bit diluted due to ice in both the pitcher and oversized wine glasses, giving just under four glasses total, but it was still enjoyable. Service was excellent; our waiter was attentive, friendly, and offered helpful menu suggestions when asked. We sat outside, which provided a great view and allowed us to enjoy a live boardwalk concert nearby without it being too loud to talk. One minor issue was locating the entrance — we accidentally sat at the Mexican restaurant next door first, as the entrance is a few steps up. Our table was a little low, but after moving to a more stable table, the experience was much more comfortable. Overall, Harvest Tide is a fantastic choice for great food, attentive service, and a pleasant outdoor dining experience in Bethany Beach.”
