“The best BBQ that I’ve ever had! The meat was unbelievably tender—falling apart at the touch of a fork. The homemade sauce was outstanding and truly elevated the flavors. The mac & cheese was incredibly delicious and perfectly creamy! The place is spacious and well organized, and the staff were incredibly friendly and efficient. I loved everything about it and would highly recommend this spot. I’ll definitely be back!”
“Great Bbq spot. Consistent with the other restaurants part of the same family. All the classics in their delicious form. All the meats and sides were perfect. Not a lot of local craft beers. Some of the staff were really nice, unfortunately we got stuck with the server guy that was not present, took our order and was never seen again after we had paid. Ended up calling someone else to be able to pay, this nice lady got the to instead of him.”
“Stopped in during the snowstorm last weekend, and there were maybe two other tables there. Food was delicious, but the brisket was cold - which kind of stunk especially since no one was there so you’d expect it to be hot and fresh. The corn bread was yummy! Pulled pork and Brussels sprouts were just a little too sweet, but still super tasty. The chai Mai tai was made properly and such a good pick!”
“The vibe was vibing. The waitstaff was remarkable. The food however, a disappointment. It was insipid at best. The sauce was the only worthy item I had here. I ordered the gluten free bbq pulled chicken with a side of crinkle fries and coleslaw. I was amazed at the hostess’s knowledge of gluten free- all the allergens on the menu and her ability to make recommendations and substitutions for me. Such experiences are rare and I appreciate that. The gluten free bun was one of the worst gluten free buns I have ever had. It crumbled on the first bite. It was soggy and dense but flavorless - and I understand that gluten free bread doesn’t taste very good but this one was especially bad. The chicken was nothing to write home about - as well as the sides. My husband ordered three meats: the burnt tips, some kind of steak and wings. He too, was very unsatisfied with the food. I would like to come again because the staff were wonderful about gluten allergies but the food was meh so perhaps not.”
“Hmmm, where do I start? I should have followed my gut and went to another restaurant when I called to make the reservation and no one picked up. So I sent a text and got my reservation. I got a text back 30 minutes prior to remind me, but when we got there I was told that the kitchen was down an there was no fry food/no wings, no rolls and no french fries. Again, with 5 children, we should have left, but we had already paid $30 for parking; we decided to stay. They could have at least said that when they confirmed. Even though it wasn't busy, the waitress was very impatient and was rushing us to order. She mislead us into ordering the meat combo for 4 for $43 per person. The food came out cold, I guess we shouldn't have expected better. We forced ourselves to eat (mostly meat, since they kids didn't like any of the sides, not even the mac n cheese); we were starving after 4 hours of driving, so we didn't have much choice. It wasn't until the bill when she saw the automatic 18% tip of over $50 that the waitress' mood changed. Maybe this place is better on other days, but it was not good to us. I would have rather spent $350 at a steak house. Will definitely not recommend.”
