“It is incredible hard to come by restaurants in the northern Vermont area. Whenever I stay up here for work it's always been either missing out on dinner or ordering the closest fast food. I am so glad to have to found this restaurant in this litte town, Brandon VT. Every dish I have seen come out has looked superb. My dishes were absolutely delectable. I got their specials of French Onion Soup and Chicken Cordon Blue. The staff is super friendly and it looks to ran by someone who follows traditional culinary dishes with a delightful slightly modern twist. I would 100% refer this location to anyone I come across. Absolutely loving this treasure and will keep coming back every time I'm in the area.”

“Dog friendly (outdoor seating) in the warmer months. Some seats are covered but we sat out in the open which was perfect on a comfortable day as the sun was getting into the shadows. They bring bowls of ice water out almost immediately for the dogs. Food was absolutely wonderful, with the exception of the cheesecake I didn't feel was as good as everything else we ate (was not bad, just nothing special nor my preferred type of cheesecake, YMMV). We had a few apps including the escargot salad. For an entrée I had the salmon wrapped scallops. Scallops are always a dicey order and often aren't cooked properly but everything was put together and cooked perfectly. The beer list was nice with a lot of local craft brews. Very relaxing meal with great service and food.”

“The tomato tart on a thin crust was delectable and just perfect. Try it for sure. I had the lamb chops and enjoyed them. Cooked just right. Service was also timely and helpful. Was visiting from Seattle area the weekend of the 1st. Will return again on our next trip to Vermont.”

“My wife and I are regulars here but the food quality varies so much. Tonight was my last straw that made me leave a review. We had a to go order, my wife ordered the crispy chicken Cesar salad but realized after we got home it was grilled chicken. The chicken was very dry as well. I ordered the 10oz steak medium rare but it was so chewy that I couldn't finish it. It also came drenched in gravy which I'm not sure is gluten free or not. Probably my bad for not asking but when one orders a steak you assume it's not drenched in gravy. As stated before, we are regulars here but for $70 for 2 meals we expected much better food quality.”
