May Day is an American restaurant in the Burlington neighborhood of Burlington.
“Recently I had the pleasure of attending a special event in Mayday restaurant. All staff were amazing! A special shout out to Matthew who made sure my dietary needs were met and Avery who made sure my glass was never empty! The food and service were top quality and would highly recommend to anyone living in the area or just visiting! I will return. Thank you all for a brilliant evening.”
“Impressed... Came here for ONE restaurant week. I'd been wanting to try it for awhile and just never got around to it. We were met by the owner who was very kind and friendly. We were a little early so we got a couple of excellent cocktails at the bar while we waited. The food was amazing, the service was impeccable, and I can rarely say both of those things in combination about a restaurant! The Caesar schnitzel was a standout and the maple ice cream is delicious- wine and food suggestions from our server were great too. Thank you for an amazing meal!”
“We dined at May Day for the first time recently and loved it! Our favorite dishes included the Tremolo bread (made by a baker who grinds their own flour) with whipped ricotta and hot honey, the Scarpinocc (stuffed pasta with chèvre, corn and mushrooms) and the Chicken Schnitzel (perfectly crisp and topped with corn, peppers and mushrooms). All the dishes had a great combination of textures and flavors and were innovative without being pretentious. We were delayed for our reservation because our day hike to Camels Hump took longer than anticipated. Fortunately, we phoned ahead and deeply appreciated that they were able to accommodate us at a later time. High points for service right there! Our server was friendly and helpful. Noise level was high. Relaxed atmosphere. We ordered 4 dishes for a party of 2 and it was the right amount. I hope to return again on a future trip to Burlington. Highly recommend!!”
“Service was fast and presentation was great. Higher prices but quality food and beautiful presentation!! In the pictures we fries, Gem lettuce, pork belly and Tuna crudo. Drink is a Madrid sour. I will be definitely going again.”
“We have been here three times recently and absolutely loved it! The food was amazing—fresh and local and on point. Cocktails also might be the best in burlington … We are pescatarian and plenty of options and the fish had a perfect sear and golden crust! Pasta was fresh and delicious. I couldn’t remember all the dishes but the menu changes often. Bring back the mushroom toast! Hands down most delicious thing I’ve eaten this year!”
