“We went for my birthday dinner. The local cheese plate snack with our flight of cider was delicious. My salmon dinner was cooked perfectly and my husband’s steak with fresh herbs was also delicious. When they heard it was my birthday, we were gifted a dessert ice cider. Yum! Our waitress, Danielle, was fantastic. They had my favorite wine: Dr Constantine Frank Gewurztraminer. The Irish folk singer was very talented. Amazing evening.”

“Had such a great experience at Seminary Hill Cidery! The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared, and the Jess made the whole visit even better. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcomed from start to finish. The atmosphere was gorgeous and relaxing too. Definitely worth the visit — can’t wait to come back!”

“First time dining here last night with my boyfriend and we were disappointed… It was 5:30pm and it was slow so you would think the staff would provide great service. The food took a little while and it wasn’t that warm. I got the steak and it was good but small portions for a $40 steak. The staff were making themselves drinks from the bar and sitting in the other room and we had to get up to go pay at the bar because no one came over to us with our bill. Beautiful place to dine in but staff need to be better.”

“Upon arriving at the cidery, we were immediately hit with the overwhelming smell of manure, which unfortunately set the tone for the rest of the experience. My friend and I ordered a flight since we usually enjoy a wide variety of ciders, but we genuinely didn’t like any of the six we picked. Most tasted flat and oddly similar to one another, with none really standing out. We also ordered a few snacks from the very limited menu, which were okay at best. What really made the experience off-putting, though, was the atmosphere from the staff. I had to walk over to the bar to ask for an extra glass because they only brought one for the bottle of cider we ordered.. so imagine my shock when later a waitress walked up to our table, took my glass directly in front of me without saying anything, and walked away with it. The whole visit felt like we were interrupting the staff while they were getting ready for something else. Between that and people working on laptops around the space, the vibe felt more awkward than welcoming. The view is nice, though.”
