Stella's is a Greek restaurant in the Radcliffborough neighborhood of Charleston.
“Somehow Stella does not come up on internet searches as one of the top restaurants in Charleston. Not sure why because this great authentic Greek restaurant, since 1983 ,serves wonderful Greek cuisine with extremely large portions at reasonable prices. The appetizers are enough to share as an entree and the entrees can feed an entire table. Nice wine list comprised of exclusively Greek wines . Reservations strongly recommended. Do yourself a favor and reserve space at the counter . The grilled octopus and the Stella Calamari were excellent. Wonderful service provided by Katrina.”
“We've been coming to Charleston annually for the past three years and discovered Stella's on this trip. We loved it so much that we brought friends in a few days after our first visit! The ambiance both indoor and outdoor on the patio is great. The indoors is unique because there are two bars you can sit around (one is an actual bar, the other is like a chef's area), in addition to traditional seating. But the food is the real hit. Between the two visits, we had grilled octopus and the village salad (both were absolutely amazing) as appetizers. We had the saganaki (it was OK) as well on the second visit because there were kids in the group and that was an experience for them. The shrimp Santorini and the grilled leg of lamb were excellent. One of the teens had the tiaramisu for dessert and said it was the best she's ever had!”
“Obsessed with this restaurant!! Our best dinner on our entire Christmas trip. Anastasiia was beyond incredible walking us through the entire menu and making excellent recommendations. Our food was exceptional and we will for sure be telling friends of ours to go if they’re visiting Charleston.”
“Welp....If you visit Charleston SC...Stellas (local Greek restaurant ) is a MUST!!!! Anya was our server, and she deserves 10 stars on her own. We decided to sit at the dining counter which is the ideal place to situate yourself and watch the magic of the kitchen happen. Our meal began with Tabouli and Hummus appetizer.. which was delicious. We continued our dining experience with a traditional Greek salad, which was so fresh. and could feed my family for a weekend. Salmon and Artichoke Moussaka were our main dishes and that was even more delicious!!!! How is this possible??!! The chefs here would blow away Gordon Ramsey on any given day.”
“Very glad I went here for dinner. The server was helpful to me and to others, helping describe ingredients and portion sizes. My soup and salad was just what I needed, after too many consecutive nights of rich meals. The arugula and fennel salad was fresh and healthy. I would have enjoyed the dressing more if the acidity were toned down a touch. The lentil soup was served hot, with a mild tomato-red pepper broth. The lentils were a little crunchier than my custom. My neighbors’ dishes (grilled octopus and lamb) all looked delicious and attractive.”
