“Very nice place for an evening cocktail. Our bartender was pleasant and eager to share recommendations and was proud of his art. They also have an extensive wine list.”
“This is long overdue, but my husband and I love this place so much we’ll just drop in when we’re in the area to say hello to Nathan!! The first time I went there I loved the vibes. It has a very intimate setting with impeccable style and then if you want to stay even later through the night-they know how to keep up with the rest of upper King Street in a tasteful way ;) Honestly hope one day they’ll move to Broad St or somewhere south of Calhoun because I think they’re too good for that area! Their charcuterie boards are amazing, wine is divine, cocktails spot on and I think their fun Porróns is their specialty. Their staff is so kind and we’ve developed great friendships with some who used to work their. Can’t count how many birthdays we’ve celebrated their, business vendor parties, sporting events (definitely visit during the Kentucky Derby for a bougie time!) Highly recommend this place and our favorite time to go used to be on a Friday around 8 or 9 to keep the night going or start it off! Love you Vintage Lounge!!”
“We used to go to this place a decent amount, but the past two times in 2026 have not been good experiences. Went in last Saturday, had bad service, but went to the bar and ordered three of the same drink, all of which ended up being incorrect and not really drinkable. Additionally, she changed the tip I left and increased it from 10% to 20%. It used to be a favorite spot to go and to bring out of town guests, but would not recommend going anymore.”
“DO NOT MAKE A RESERVATION HERE I want to preface this by saying I have never left a negative review in my 30 years, but this experience warranted one. We had a 10:30 reservation, with the understanding that being late would result in a $100 charge. Despite arriving on time, we were left waiting for roughly 15 minutes before a manager approached us. Instead of a simple check-in, we were met with a series of condescending and poorly communicated questions about our reservation, as if the confusion was somehow ours to solve. After that interaction, we were told we could “sit anywhere” at a bar that was already completely full. No effort was made to accommodate us despite the reservation policy being so rigid on the customer side. The lack of organization was matched only by the lack of accountability. Unfortunately, the service did not improve once we attempted to settle in. The bartender was dismissive, unprofessional, and seemed more interested in being rude than providing a service. It’s one thing to run behind or have logistical issues. It’s another to handle it with this level of disorganization and attitude. If you’re going to enforce strict policies on your guests, the least you can do is hold your own operation to the same standard.”
“As two tourists from Wisconsin, we thought $19 was outrageous for two drinks. As we got up to leave, the bartender told us that was only for one! No live music, no special events, just a quiet week night with a basic old fashioned. Great bartenders, nice ambiance and atrocious prices.”
