“This place is beautiful! The history is so interesting and you are encouraged to wander around to check the whole place out. Out waitress gave ua some infoemation on the building and was so helpful with ordering. She made us feel very welcome. Nothing was rushed. We had the charcuterie board and cheese plate and a handful of oysters and were too full to order anything else. It was definitely an amazing experience. “Our experience at Hyeholde Restaurant was absolutely impeccable from start to finish. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations. She took the time to walk us through each item, answer our questions, and made the entire evening feel thoughtful and personalized. She was genuinely pleasant and such a wonderful asset to the Hyeholde team. The drinks were delicious, and every course exceeded our expectations. We started with the charcuterie board (the small size), and the portions were far more generous than expected — and absolutely delicious. We also ordered two small plates: the beef tartare and the braised pork belly. Both were phenomenal. For entrées, we had the rack of lamb and the elk strip loin. I can honestly say it was the best rack of lamb I’ve ever had — and I order lamb at nearly every fine dining restaurant we visit if it’s on the menu. The preparation was flawless. The elk strip loin was equally outstanding. If you’re hesitant because elk is considered “gamey,” don’t be — it was unbelievably tender, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. To finish, we had the French silk pie, which may have been the most delectable dessert I’ve ever had. Every part of the experience was exceptional, and we truly cannot wait to return — especially to try one of their picnic baskets next time!”

“Completely immersive attending experience from start to finish with attention to detail at every stage. Dinner is designed to take anywhere from 2 to 2 1/2 hours so patrons can enjoy the experience. services first class. Everything is made perfectly. The ambience is next level. You have the option of going on a tour to go through the entire building at the end through tunnels into old libraries and the like. Also an excellent location for weddings and receptions. I could not recommend this experience more. Make sure you do have a reservation, it is not for younger diners and be ready to spend the entire evening going through this experience. Probably the best not to have somewhere. You have to be after dinner at a set time.”
