“One of our favorite restaurants in Florence AL, we drive down from TN to enjoy this special cafe! Odette on this day was serving Saturday brunch to our delight! I had the country ham and kale omelette served with a large green salad and buttered toast triangles... my wife chose the burger and she was very pleased! Their secret weapon with the burger is the house made ketchup and aoli sauce! Our server was super attentive and on top of our requests all while waiting on a large party at another table! We ended our meal with a cookie skillet and ice cream 🍦 An excellent dining experience!”

“Elevated comfort food at a reasonable price! Let me start by saying you have to save room for dessert - the cheesecake and creme brulee are some of the best desserts I've ever had, period. The cheesecake especially is incredibly balanced in flavor and texture with the addition of cookie crumbles and citrus slices. I ordered the asparagus grilled cheese and was impressed with the structural integrity of the bread as well as the fries being perfectly cooked, neither soggy or burnt. The ketchup is homemade and very interesting, slightly sweet and not "goopy" like regular ketchup. My one qualm is that the grilled cheese was quite heavy, and not as balanced as I would have hoped with the addition of the veggies. However, because it was so heavy and filling I had to get a box for half and am basically getting two full meals for the price of one! If you are looking for a rich grilled cheese with "hidden" veggies, you would like this. I came with a party of 6 and everyone enjoyed their meals and drinks. We demolished the white cheddar pimento cheese and asked for extra to go. Our server was also very nice and accommodating when we requested to split our checks in a somewhat complicated way. Whoever is designing the menu and working in the kitchen really knows what they're doing. If you are passing through Florence, as my group of friends was, make a stop here!”

“Food was decent, but not for the price, kind of tasted burnt. If this were a diner, I'd give it 5 stars, but as a quasi-fine dining place charging in the 20s or so for lunch, I'd expect better food. Great service though, fast and friendly. Atmosphere was a little loud, but I understand some people prefer that, find it lively. I'd try it again though, maybe I just came on an off day or ordered the wrong thing. Lots of people swear by them.”
