“Flyleaf is a magical place! I hosted my sister’s baby shower at Flyleaf in Grosse Pointe Farms, and it could not have been a more perfect experience. We had a group of over 40 guests and reserved the entire venue for a brunch-luncheon, which created such a warm and intimate atmosphere for the celebration. The food and drinks were absolutely excellent! Everything was beautifully presented and consistently delicious across the board. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how much they enjoyed everything. What truly set the experience apart was the service. Charlie and the entire team went above and beyond, helping with both setup and wrap-up, which made the day feel effortless and stress-free for our family. Their attention to detail and genuine care made a huge difference. We received so many compliments from our guest with several people saying it was the best baby shower they had ever attended. Flyleaf played a huge role in making that happen. I would highly recommend this venue for any special event or to just enjoy your favorite coffee or cocktail and a treat and a book. Can’t wait to get back there!”

“This is actually a pretty cool place! 1st Floor has a bar, restaurant, and features non-fictional book selections. 2nd floor has plenty of seating areas with the fictional book selections that also can have food/drinks served to. 3rd floor is an outdoor rooftop space, but was closed due to winter. Would recommend reservations if you want a good spot. Staff was awesome and so helpful. Place is gorgeous inside / out”

“I had an amazing, relaxing time here. Hot coffee and reading by a fireplace during this cold snap was exactly what I needed. Friendliest servers and barista and a great selection of books. Brought my own to read but ended up buying three more. The snacks we ordered were, for the most part, great. That said...if you like traditional deviled eggs, I wouldn't recommend them. Tasted like straight vinegar - but that's my personal preference on taste and won't knock them a bit for it! To each their own. LOVE this place. Give it a visit. It's well worth it and it's always best to support small, local businesses!”

“Flyleaf bookstore / bistro is a lovely gathering place for book lovers and people who want to connect and be social in a warm and delightful environment. The staff is very friendly and the offerings are splendid. My friend and I enjoyed the crab cakes , fries and chocolate cloud cake while catching up on literature and life while sitting in front of a cozy fireplace. Books for purchase are creatively displayed on both floors. Seating is comfortable. I highly suggest reserving a table otherwise there could be a wait. Great place!”

“Visited for a private event, about 10 people. The backroom upstairs was perfect! Cozy and beautiful. Staff were kind, attentive, and accommodating. Thank you for a great time! I didn't get to experience the dining room, bar, or bookstore, but do recommend them for small events or meetings and will be back to check out the rest”
