Mirador is a Tapas restaurant in the Midtown Kingston neighborhood of Kingston.
“What a wonderful find Mirador was. One of the few wine bars open on a Sunday night in Kingston, New York, and the place was still buzzing. Authentic Spanish tapas delightfully presented, and the attention to detail from start to finish was superb. Owner Nick has really created something very authentic and special here. He is passionate about Spanish wines and even more so when it comes to sherries. An incredible wine and sherry list. Well worth a visit.”
“We had a wonderful experience at Mirador in Kingston, NY. This Andalusian tapas bar offers an authentic and memorable dining experience from start to finish. The staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive, and the food was outstanding. Every tapas dish we tried was flavorful and beautifully prepared. Highlights included the Pan Con Tomate, Nuestra Ensaladilla, and the evening's special Tortilla Española, all of which were exceptional. A special touch was the complimentary sample of Manzanilla sherry, which added to the authentic Spanish atmosphere and showcased the restaurant's hospitality. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal and appreciated the opportunity to sample a variety of delicious flavors. If you're traveling through the area or looking for a unique dining experience in Kingston, Mirador is absolutely worth a visit. We look forward to returning.”
“Such a great spot for any night, but we went on a Monday and the place was hopping. Brimming with charm, vibe is hip and romantic. Good for small groups or dining sooo at the bar. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Food was exquisite. The pan matrimonios was so memorable and nuanced. Tap wine was delicious and paired perfectly with everything.”
“I had high expectations after reading the reviews and it didn’t disappoint! Our favorite was the pan con tomate, it’s the best I’ve had! The tuna pintxo was very good too, so much flavor. The only “off” thing was that the Iberian pork had a lot of fat to my liking. and I’ve eaten a lot of Iberian pork so I don’t think it was reasonably for the dishes price, but it had a bunch of flavor! The flan had the perfect texture.”
“The pan con tomate is a stand out — for sure worth a spot on your order and we debated ordering a second! However the menu changed recently and we found that it didn’t have enough offerings. The frisé salad ($16) is also steep for what it is — a bowl of bitter lettuce with a fishy dressing and some parm shaved on top. Mirador is a nice spot for a drink and a snack but for a fuller meal you may need to look elsewhere or be prepared for a heavy bill for small plates.”
