The Walnut Kitchen is a Southern restaurant in the Maryville neighborhood of Maryville.
“We celebrated our 16th Anniversary at The Walnut Kitchen. It was our second time to visit and both visits have been great! The food and service were unmatched. Thank you for making our night special”
“My wife and I decided to celebrate our 7 year anniversary here. We have lived in Maryville for 6 years and this was our first time here. The experience and food was over the top. We ordered the tomahawk and it was incredible. The experience of how it was served and just overall was top notch. Chef Jason Scott gave his all the background history on the restaurant and where the beef comes from. Him and the team there are absolute professionals! I Will 100% be going back here for many future meals!”
“I prefer local places over franchises and this is one we love. For the most part everything is amazing. One of our faves to order is onion rings with their in-house made honey mustard. I promise you won't regret them. This photo is their grain bowl which I get almost every time and I just love it.”
“I'm not sure why it took me so long to give this restaurant a try, but I finally did it... those bao buns are flipping great. The dry age rib eye with compound butter was very good, the dessert was also very well put together, though the name escapes me, and the drinks were on point. An overall great experience. I'll definitely be back. Nice work to that whole WK team🍻”
“The restaurant atmosphere and decor are lovely. Their partnerships with local farmers are impressive. However, the meals, cost, and service were disappointing. It was lunchtime on a Saturday when I ordered a turkey sandwich, collard greens, and ice tea. The sandwich was bland. The collard greens had too much pepper and were spicy. I was told it would be removed from my bill. It was not. The service was sub-par. It was not very busy - maybe 5 tables were seated. The server refilled the iced tea glass once. The experience lasted an hour and a half. For 3 simple lunch items, the cost was $29.09 - before the tip! My friend ordered crispy fries and they were droopy. We had high hopes for The Walnut Kitchen. Hopefully others have a better experience.”
