Downtown Nantucket, Nantucket, MA · $$$
The Pearl is an Asian restaurant in the Downtown Nantucket neighborhood of NANTUCKET.
“Absolutely loved our dinner at The Pearl! Every dish was outstanding. The Blue Crab Hush Puppies were a must-order, and the Hamachi was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The biggest surprise of the night was the Salt & Pepper Wok Fried Lobster. I was skeptical about fried lobster, but it was amazing—lightly fried, perfectly cooked, and still let the lobster shine. A special shoutout to sommelier, who guided us through the wine list. She was incredibly knowledgeable, approachable, and helped us find perfect pairings for our meal. The entire staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, making the experience feel even more special. One of our favorite meals on Nantucket—we can’t wait to come back!”
“Both the front of house and back of house staff are doing it better than anywhere else on island! Food is excellent & the staff serving it know their stuff. I am always impressed from the moment I come in! From the ambience (perfect music), the cozy vibe in the bar room (window seat is the best bar seat on island), colorful & freshly prepared creative cocktails, & of course the delicious food. Mushroom udon & lobster Rangoon were unreal! Best of all is the staff here-they are true professionals.”
“The rating on the Pearl should be much higher. The food was amazing!! Was a very pleasant experience and I can’t wait to go back!! Love the names of some of the creative cocktails as well. Fun!”
“The bar is so beautiful, so is the restaurant itself. The food was very good and the presentation was on point! We started with ceviche and beef tartare, finished with potatoes and steak - which was absolutely amazing!! Thank you Svetlana and Kevin for great service and fun time!”
“The pearl was an experience. The place was modern, white, and romantic. Service overall was good. Our table was ready quickly, and the food came out quick. The server had knowledge and knew the menu. The food by itself is Asian inspired. Some dishes were good. Some were great. I will mention only the highlights - cornbread, rangoons, and short rib. The Coctails were ok. The first one that we ordered was really small. The second round was a full cup. The taste overall was ok. Prices were ridiculously expensive. Dessert wasn't as good as expected. It's not a dessert place. I would visit again, yes. There is something interesting and unique at this place.”
