“Since moving here a month ago from California, I had to check other reviews. This is a nice place for an intimate dinner or special event. Foodwise - wasn't as great as majority of reviews I've read before dining here. What did I ordered? Seafood salad, lamb chops (med rare) & ribeye (med rare). Not sure how there could be a mix-up but I was sent a Shepherd Salad instead. Daggumit, I was looking forward to it. Shepherd Salad was great; wifey loved it with the bread. Ribeye was overcooked; it was nearly well done. Didn't taste anything special about it but wife raved about the sides of mashed potato and mushroom. Lamb chops were also overcooked but tasty. Didn't need sauce nor seasoning. The rice was heavenly. Side salad was "meh". I did an inquiry about the salad we ordered and Manager said it was the Shepherd Salad, not Seafood. I asked him to rectify it on my bill but he comped it. Thank you for the generosity! I would like to give this establishment another try though I was taken aback with the 18% gratuity tacked onto the bill. Gratuity should be voluntary, not enforced onto a party of 2; understandable if party was more than 5. Update - June 12, 2026: Thank you, Sofra for a very delectable event. Instead of going for a meal, you created an admirable event for my wife and I. Enough for me to change my previous review to all 5-stars! Sofra deserves high praises for taking care of their guests, not customers. Ysabella was very engaging and proactive as our wait staff with recommendations and attentiveness. We ordered the same as our last visit: seafood combo salad, ribeye and lamb chops. They were delicious! Hint: not a fault of Sofra's kitchen, if you like your ribeye or to lamb Med-Rare, it's best to have them cooked Rare. Because the cuts of meat are on the thin side, residual heat will continue cooking to your desired temperature. Sofra, thank you for your generosity with the complimentary Turkish tea and cheesecake. AND thank you for eliminating the forced gratuity. I've been to establishments where tipping is included with the bill. Let's say the service was very subpar. I can see, at Sofra, that this will not be an issue. I've witnessed the alertness and attentiveness of your crew. They're always on standby and ready to assist at the slightest. You have a great set of team members.”

“Delicious Turkish halal spot that is worth it! I came here for the first time on my birthday with friends few years ago and now the second time with family for a celebration. Our server Siyra was great making sure our needs were met. The food and service were top tier as well. My order was the Beyti Kebab and this was this best Turkish dish I ever had. The meat was well seasoned and the yogurt on top mended well with the dish. Turkish food is always my go to and this place definitely made it in my top 3.”

“This place is an absolute oasis! The restaurant itself is stunning separate party rooms decorated so beautifully and festively and tastefully. I honestly need to throw a party just so I can enjoy in real time. The food is spectacular, fresh flavorful, authentic and very generous servings. We came here on a whim and will be back over and over and over as often as possible. The staff is incredible. and I love getting a moment to speak with the owner‘s wife. Cannot recommend this place enough, whether it’s dinners or a party. Please come here and enjoy every finger licking opportunity to try something absolutely incredible.”
