“Well appointed, upscale neighborhood restaurant. Delicious BBQ Shrimp and artfully presented Duck. Very nice ambiance with adorable crown candles. Friendly staff like Rosalind our waitress. I appreciate that they’re listed on Rest with American Express and accept credit card. Highly recommend. 😊”
“Staff (B was his name) extremely helpful with guiding us on our choices. The chef(s) provided great dishes (duck liver pate, BBQ shrimp pie, beet salad, crab bisque, Faux Pas, spaghetti squash and slow roasted duck) with our favorites being the shrimp, beet and duck dishes. The lemon chess pie was an absolutely great ending. Amazing flavors and textures all the way through this experience”
“Very delicious shrimp appetizers that you have to get (5/5). Extremely savory with plump fresh shrimp that had excellent flavor. Gumbo was good (4/5) on the very smoky side which was tasty. The fish (4/5) was extremely well cooked and flavorful (and bountiful). Pecan pie was good but I think too dense with the chocolate.”
“Cannot say enough about how wonderful this experience was and the first night in NOLA to top it off. Rosalind was attentive, cheeky, and overall A star! Essentially had to drag my husband out of the dining room. Very impressed with every single piece of the meal and even the dessert cocktails”
“This was our first time having the boq shrimp sweet potato pie and oh my, it was so good!! The oysters were really good too but the pie is the star appetizer. The fish came out a bit undercooked which they fixed pretty quickly. It was very tasty and with the biggest lump crab cake ever that had a deliciously paired sauce with it. The decor is very Nola: warm, inviting, a bit eclectic but still in a relaxed, elegant way. The service was great too!”
