“after skimming reviews here, you notice a lot of inconsistency, then only after enjoying a large dinner party at B&B I can see why. this place lacks quality control beyond plating cosmetics, so the service and even each course may be a hit or miss. miss: glassed in roof started off comfortably cool, then got too hot after sundown due to poorly distributed hvac duct work. over salted onion soup was served without spoons. decorative french fries were all a soggy under fried mess so nobody ate it. milk drinks were sour, citrus drinks were sickly sweet. mozzarella bits and churros seems like they had been baked twice, so outer crust was too hard. all "marinara" sauced items were boring. lava cake was a cup of chalky brown stuff. hit: goat cheese salad - don't leave without trying this. home fries were soggy but with an unexpected sweet delicate flavor. mango slushie drink did not disappoint. pappardelle creamy pesto was fine and paired well with a grilled fish dish. pizza were fine, but i would discard the crust and eat their wonderful house sourdough bread. all cheesecakes were good, as like their pizza, just different toppings applied to the same base. creme brulee vanilla seemed more like a warm rice pudding. pro tip when eating the branzino; flip the fish over and remove the skin with your fork, because the way they grill this with skin on seems good as it adds pleasant fats to the fish, but it's bad to leave it intact because the skin itself comes out with a gummy texture, so the mouthfeel is off and it should be discarded. my portion had small bones at the far spine end of the fish so beware. i found the green bean pairing as monotonous.”
“It's my first time there and I'm mad i didn't know about this place earlier! Food WOHA! 5 star! Service 6 star! It couldn't be better. Price is pretty fair! The decor and music relaxes your body! The best part is its 7 minutes from boro park! Will definitely come back again and again”
“They have delicious food, great atmosphere and very welcoming service. I was there 12ish, it was empty and the vibe was great.”
“Came here for Mother’s Day brunch and overall had a good experience. The rooftop atmosphere was really nice and the presentation of the food/drinks was beautiful. We ordered a variety of dishes and most of the food was good. The gnocchi had great flavor, although the pasta itself was a little chewy. The pizzas were probably our favorite part of the meal. Portions were a bit smaller than expected for the price though. Desserts unfortunately weren’t our favorite... we tried the lava cake and cheesecake and both were just okay. Service also felt a little disorganized at times since our food was brought to other tables more than once, and we also had other people’s dishes brought to us by mistake. Overall though, the ambiance and some standout dishes made it an enjoyable brunch spot and I’d still come back.”
“Made a reservation. Showed up with high hopes. Entered and was greeted warmly. Was seated right away. Server came over and was very friendly. Started to give order and then she had to go. Came back and placed our order. That was the last we saw of her. Food came out minutes later. Fresh food should not come out within 3 minutes. Was not impressed with the quality of the food. Would not repeat.”
