Upscale American Saloon with stunning rooftop views of the Empire State and Chrysler Building.
“The staff were incredibly gracious and observant. The setting was warm and welcoming; it's a deep wooden and vintage look. Food was yummy.”
“Laid back and chill neighborhood bar. Good bar food. Great drinks. Appreciated they had delicious non-alcoholic beverages. Bartenders were down to earth and friendly. Not intrusive. Also loved that the music wasn’t ridiculously loud. The space was also clean and perfectly lit. Would definitely go back again when I’m in the area. Portion size was also perfect.”
“Great spot! Came for brunch on a Saturday, made a reservation for two. When we arrived we were seated right away, if it is a nice day out I do suggest sitting up at the rooftop. The views are amazing and truly set the vibe. The food and drinks were delicious. Our waitress was so attentive and sweet always making sure we were good and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this place!”
“This is a great restaurant with delicious food. They run specials Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Sunday. I went on Wednesday and got their 10 dollar burgers. It was well worth the price. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the service was top notch. They also have a balcony and you can go outside and enjoy a nice view of the city. My one complaint is the stools they have are very uncomfortable. It was really awkward to sit on them.”
“I have rarely been treated with the amount of disrespect and unprofessionalism at any restaurant or bar in this city for the 30 years I've lived here. The place is actually a great setup and I had been there a few times before. However, I remember being treated better at Frat Parties back in college than what happened during our last visit earlier this week. We went to watch a World Cup game after work. Towards the end, we were asked to leave because there was a private event later (in a couple of hours). Normally, the host should inform you when you enter a place beforehand. Our game went into overtime, which is another half hour of play and we asked our server with 20 minutes remaining if we could at least stick around until the end. After consulting with the manager, he agreed and served us a second round of drinks. Soon after, we were approached by two separate bouncers asking us to leave. The bar was completely empty and there was still an hour and a half until the private event and only 10 minutes left in our game. When we asked to talk to the manager, she told us she didn't care that we got a second round of drinks and had to leave right away. This is the same manager that we made sure to check with before getting our drinks. Hospitality is the business of providing an enjoyable overall experience to guests. When things go wrong, a good management knows how to use judgement and initiative and make it right. The management in this case knew nothing about that let alone being respectful or having any common sense. The experience was bad enough to file a complaint with the state Division of Consumer Protection.”
