“Harriet’s was amazing from start to finish! It started with a line as can be expected at such a beautiful place at the golden hour, but when we told them we had a reservation, we were taken right in. We were greeted by several hostesses, which were all accommodating, especially the young lady that took us to our table right by the window! We were awe struck by the beauty of the venue, and the view was breathtaking. When we were greeted by our server Brett, It was clear we were in good hands, the personality he brought to the table was exactly what we needed to make the night perfect! We ordered a bottle of wine, the cucumber salad, spicy rock shrimp, and the surf and turf, just to name a few. All dishes were delicious. Brett’s service was spot on, even going above and beyond by bringing my friend a blanket because it was a little chilly. And though Harriet’s had little to do with it, the sunset over Manhattan was spectacular! I did a lot of research as we didn’t have many nights in New York and I wanted to make them all special, Harriet’s by far was my best pick!! Thank you to all for making it a night to remember!!”
“The food was impeccable—you could truly taste how fresh the sushi and maki were in every bite. Kudos to the talented chefs for such an exceptional culinary experience. But above all, hats off to Brett, our wonderful server for the evening. He was incredibly attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely warm, making our dining experience all the more special. Thanks to him, my birthday celebration felt truly memorable and unforgettable. Cheers!”
“Marto, was lovely and attentive! Very knowledgeable and couldn’t do enough to help! Made the experience for my partners birthday that more special! Go at sunset for some amazing views”
“Fantastic view! Was there on a Friday afternoon, amazing view over lower Manhattan. There was an entry fee of $55, a DJ was playing until 10.00 PM. The drinks are on the pricier end for sure, the staff I interacted with was kind. You definitely pay for the view, but that is ok. Would go again!”
“My husband and I came here during our very first trip to New York City. We were honestly so excited for the experience because the place looked beautiful online and we wanted to have a special night with an amazing view. When we arrived, we asked the hostess if we could sit at one of the edge tables on the rooftop. She told us those tables were reserved for parties of three or more because we were only two people. Of course, we understood and didn’t make a big deal about it. But a little while later, we saw another party of two being seated at the exact same table we originally asked for. I’m not going to lie that made us feel pretty uncomfortable and honestly a little excluded. My husband and I both work in hospitality and have both worked as servers before, so I want to believe maybe it had something to do with table rotation or sections between servers. We understand how restaurants and rooftops operate and we respect how stressful those jobs can be. But because we know the industry, we also know how bad it feels when you arrive somewhere really excited and something immediately changes the vibe of your night. Especially because this was our first time ever visiting New York, it just hit us a little harder emotionally. We had really been looking forward to this experience. Thankfully, our server Brett completely turned the night around. He was amazing from start to finish super attentive, kind, welcoming, and professional. At one point we asked him if guests are normally able to request tables, and he basically told us that if tables are available, people usually can sit where they want. He even went out of his way to get us an edge table later on, even though we were already halfway through dinner. Honestly, Brett is the reason we would ever come back. The rooftop itself is gorgeous, the drinks were great, and my husband and I ended up spending way more than the minimum required for the rooftop area. That’s why the beginning of the experience felt so disappointing. I really think management should pay more attention to how guests are welcomed and treated at the front, because first impressions really do matter. Aside from that situation, the view, atmosphere, drinks, and especially Brett’s service were all fantastic.”
