“A truly incredible meal with excellent service. Open kitchen where the chefs are cooking every dish to order. Hyper seasonal menu driven by the best ingredients available! Perfectly seasoned and well balanced dishes.”
“Had a phenomenal meal at Shmoné last night. I normally don’t like sitting on tall bar seats (as they’re almost always uncomfortable) but we were seated at the chef’s counter, the seats were surprisingly comfy and it was great fun watching the chefs in action. One of the best and most surprisingly meals I’ve had in a long time. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and made great recommendations, suggesting dishes I normally would never pick. Particularly the sweet cherry salad - marinated in garlic, olive oil and herbs so that it was savory instead of sweet. Refreshing and delicious! Hot Jerusalem bagel with olive oil and za’atar - hot, tearable with a good crust and oh so chewy, dipped this in everything. Cabbage melting into itself, lamb stock, sour cream - super tender sexy cabbage dish. Prawns in tomato seed and butter sauce - sweet delicate prawns swimming in a rich tomatoey sauce to die for. Challah toast - rip and dunk (though we ended up getting a second bagel because the bagel was just that good!) 76 layers of wagyu flat iron on a fresh tomato and tahini sauce - perfectly grilled with a nice smoky finish, served atop a fresh tomato sauce swirled with tahini, reminiscent of the topping from pan con tomate. This is a restaurant with incredible sauces, dip that hot bagel in everything! There’s so many dish options to pick and share and the menu changes frequently with what’s seasonally available, will definitely come back to try more things!”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Last night at SHMONÉ felt like one of those perfect New York nights you wish you could replay again and again. We walked in early, thinking we’d just grab a quick dinner… and then four hours later, we were still sitting at the bar, eating, laughing, drinking, and watching this wild kitchen ballet happening right in front of us. 🔥 We had front-row seats — chefs flying, pans sizzling, olive oil dripping like gold. You could feel the energy. Everyone’s working hard but smiling, throwing jokes around, pouring martinis, and making it all look effortless. 🥯 We started with that famous Jerusalem bagel — warm, fluffy, olive oil and za’atar dripping off the edges — honestly, I could’ve stopped right there and called it a night. But then came the tuna, so fresh it practically winked at us, and the octopus, smoky and soft with those beans… unreal. 😋 The sweetbreads hit the table next — I don’t even know how to explain it — crispy, tangy, creamy, somehow a salad but not really a salad. The pistachio pesto pasta was so good we stopped talking for five minutes. 🥩 And then the 76-layer Wagyu. Oh my God. The waiter brought us challah after and said, “you’ll need this to soak up the juice,” and he was absolutely right — we cleaned that plate like it was the last supper. 🍷 Between bites and martinis, we kept saying, “just one more dish,” but we didn’t want to leave. Everything was shareable, everything was perfect, and every bite was better than the last. Must-haves: 🥩 Beef short rib ❤️ Sweetbreads 🐙 Octopus 🐟 Tuna 🥯 Jerusalem bagel If I could move in and sit at that bar every night, I would. This isn’t just dinner — it’s a whole New York moment. SHMONÉ, you got me. I’m hooked.”
“Jerusalem bagel was good, and so was the pasta. The 76 layers wagyu steak skewer was mediocre and didn’t taste that good. The beef short ribs was heavy and good and so was the chocolate tart. Overall an ok experience but it was pretty pricy. Definitely skip the cabbage though, it tasted like nothing.”
“It was a pretty good meal, but I wasn’t wow-ed. Everything was super expensive for what it is, especially the tiny portions of veggies for over $20. My fave dish of the night was actually the pistachio pesto pasta, it was fresh and rich all at the same time. Shrimp was okay, and short rib was very fatty/cloying and the sauce make it worse, it didn’t cut through the fat at all.”
