Workshop Kitchen & Bar, Palm Springs is a Californian restaurant in the Uptown Design District neighborhood of Palm Springs.
“One of the coolest-looking restaurants I’ve ever been to. The service was spectacular; our waiter was so attentive and his energy really made the experience feel personal. The lamb chops were a standout dish, with our party saying it was “one of the best lamb chops” they had ever had. The only downside was that a lot of the dishes mentioned in online reviews were not actually on the menu when we visited, so it seems their menu has changed a good amount over time. Otherwise, would definitely recommend for a nice dinner in Palm Springs!”
“Workshop Kitchen + Bar delivers a sleek, modern vibe that immediately draws you in. The minimalist aesthetic is striking without feeling cold, and the patio is hands-down one of my favorite dining spots in Palm Springs. This was our second time dining here, and it only reinforced why this place is so special. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel genuinely welcomed and pampered—they strike that perfect balance of warmth and attentiveness. The menu is thoughtfully divided into small plates and larger entrées, making it ideal for sharing. We started with two small plates: broccolini and crispy oyster mushrooms. The broccolini was beautifully charred, sitting atop a deeply flavorful broccoli purée. But the real star of the small plates—no contest—was the crispy oyster mushrooms. If you’re a mushroom lover, this dish is an absolute must. The crispy exterior, smooth and umami-rich interior, paired with hot honey and seasoning, is nothing short of magical. I honestly can’t talk about it enough. For our entrées, we ordered the Lamb Presse and the Black Cod, and wow—our taste buds were on a roller coaster. The lamb was incredibly tender and packed with flavor, while the Black Cod was a masterful blend of textures and tastes, complemented perfectly by lentils, pancetta, and thoughtful preparation. And of course, we saved room for dessert. The pistachio tres leches was the perfect ending—soft, indulgent, and simply 😘😘 We loved every moment of our evening and will always make it a point to dine here whenever we visit Palm Springs. Workshop Kitchen + Bar is truly a masterpiece, and what Chef Beckman and Mourani have created here is something special.”
“Excellent NYE dining experience. Despite the unexpected rain, we were glad to have reserved an indoor spot which offered great privacy within the restaurant’s striking brutalist-modern design. The $150 preset NYE menu included four courses; the only course without choices was the gnocchi, and everything was very well executed and delicious. The cocktails were great as well. The GM checked in on us multiple times, and we felt genuinely well taken care of with both food and drinks. Free street parking was relatively easy to find, and the entrance is pleasantly inconspicuous. Would definitely return.”
“The atmosphere is great for date night with incredible ambiance, delicious food, and outstanding service. Celebrated my birthday here and the service and staff were fantastic in making sure my wife and I had a great time. All the dishes, especially the fried rice dish, were absolutely delicious. Definitely recommend for visitors (like us) to the Palm Springs area.”
“My friend and I both honestly thought it was extremely mid. We didn’t finish the carrots or gnocchi, not exciting in the least bit. We ate a vegan pizza which was okay but we asked for honey to top it because it felt like it was missing something and the honey helped a little . The flat iron was the best thing we had, and even that wasn’t truly satisfying. The non alcoholic beverages were just okay as well, my friend didn’t drink hers at all. Overall mid. Wouldn’t go back or recommend for real food lovers. The atmosphere was nice sleek and industrial but we were hungry so we left disappointed.”
