“Oh my gosh!- best sauce ever on a halibut that I've had anywhere. The berry tiramisu was amazing. Highly recommend this place.”
“Came here for the first time after reading good reviews. Nice neighborhood feel if a little bit noisy. The server was super friendly and explained the menu well. She recommended the scallops and mussels so we had one of each along with a side of white. beans. All were very tasty. My only complaint was that the food came a bit too quickly but that is a minor point. I’d come again.”
“Sweet little spot down the way from Cafe Frida, with a smattering of tables as well as 'counter' seating (although I don't recommend for those who need more comfortable chairs...the counter seats are slender and tall, and plain wood. In fact, the table seats were also bare bones...if you have a sensitive back, bring a soft pillow. Food is delicious but pricey (example: main dishes run as high as $40). A glass of sparkling chardonnay was $14. Reservations are highly recommended as the place is not roomy.”
“I have been wanting to come here for a while, and the food was pretty good. I absolutely love the vibe of this place, and the spinster fries are to die for!!! The reason I am doing 4 stars though is because of the price and quantity ratio. Their steak, which was fine/good, was flat iron, which I don’t believe is the best cut of steak and for $45 you barely get any! But the sauce with it is so good. Everything we tried we enjoyed, but it is hard to say we would come back because of how pricey it was. I also loved that they had a Juneteenth celebration, The Spinster Sisters is obviously community oriented, and I do think they have a great thing going on, but again just too pricey, and there are other places I would rather go for the price. Maybe if there are special/local ingredients they could highlight that more to make it more worth it? Just my suggestion!”
“Food is decent but portions are small, especially for the price. We had the ricotta cavatelli and the king salmon, both were in the "larger" section and both were smaller than the salad that we got. We specially mentioned celebrating a birthday in the reservations and there was nothing special done and no acknowledgement. Service was a bit lackluster but it was nice we were able to sit outside. Overall would not be coming back”
