Madrona, Seattle, WA · $$
The space is as hand crafted as the wine we serve and compliments all occasions, both casual and sophisticated. Established in the charming neighborhood borough of Madrona, Bottlehouse continues to offer a very unique and dynamic experience, all in the comforts of a charming 1905 craftsman. We highlight a revolving menu of our favorite wines from the Pacific Northwest and around the world. Our focus is to continue to offer the very best selection of local, small/boutique, and/or natural production wines by the taste, flight, glass, bottle and to-go, alongside seasonal and rotating menu and our one-of-a kind cheese and charcuterie program.
“Outstanding service in the quaint early Seattle house converted into a restaurant, wine bar, and bottle shop. There’s a ton going on in the space but it all works, with lovely design details and local artists’ work displayed. The charred little gems with crispy shallots, mushroom toast, and mac and cheese were delicious and well paced. Loved the super minty mint lemonade. We saved just enough room for rhubarb shortcake which exceeded our expectations with lots of whipped cream and pretty plating. Our server Christopher was wonderful. It’s a bit loud during weekend dinner in the indoor seating. The patio was closed for a private event during our visit, so we’ll be back to check that out.”
“Young crowd. Very popular place. Noisy. We stood out with our white hair, but were treated so nicely we felt quite at home. The idea seems to be that you drink a lot and eat a little. But it's possible to eat a lot and drink a little. We split a salad. My husband had a Mac n cheese, and I had a brisket ragout. We then split the posset dessert. I had a glass of wine and my husband had a non-alcoholic beer. All of the food was delicious, and so was my wine. The bill (including tax but not tip) came to $115. Recommend!”
“I accidentally stumbled upon this place earlier this week but they were closed so I decided to come back and I'm so glad I did 😁 What a cute place! I paired a wine flight with a baguette with homemade butter, Willamette Valley Honey and flake salt which was amazing 🤩. I'll definitely be back to try more of their wines and food.”
“Absolutely have your event here!!! Bottlehouse was the perfect place for our wedding reception and they truly helped us craft an unforgettable night. The staff was so kind and welcoming to our guests and made my husband and I feel very cared for throughout the night. The food was tasty and plentiful with the staff always restocking when low. The drinks were phenomenal, it was so fun to craft our own menu and our guests loved how beautiful and unique all the drinks were. The event staff that helped plan everything in the months before were great at answering all my questions and made me feel like they’d have everything handled. Understand they are a full time restaurant when they don’t have events so you also need to trust the process and have patience with responses. I also feel I need to mention that their prices when it comes to venue rental and food/drink minimum were very fair and honestly a deal when it comes to other restaurants or wedding venues. So happy Bottlehouse was a part of our day and couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out.”
“LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Did a girls night here, and ordered half the menu lol Server was absolutely the sweetest and handled us elevated ladies very well. Food was phenomenal and literally every dish just kept getting better and better! The coziest back patio for outside seating that just made it feel so homey. I haven’t stopped talking about this place and can’t wait to come back!!! Also, get the Mac and cheese… just do it!!”
