“We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this restaurant! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcomed and valued. Our server was attentive, professional, and friendly without ever feeling rushed. Every recommendation was spot on, and the team went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The food was outstanding — beautifully presented, fresh, and full of flavor. Every dish we ordered exceeded expectations, and you can truly tell the chefs take pride in their work. The atmosphere was elegant yet comfortable, making it perfect for both a special occasion (celebrating a birthday) and a relaxing meal prior to attending a theatre production that evening. This establishment truly deserves five stars for its exceptional food, top-tier service, and unforgettable dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for an amazing meal! ~Suggest the Soy Cured Salmon Rolls for a light appetizer and the Warm Crispy Churros for dessert, yummy!!”

“The burger was amazing, in fact it was so good my husband ended up order one for himself after having the blackened cod! Several non-alcoholic options as well as local craft beer and unique cocktails. We walked in on a Friday evening in early May and had no problem getting a table, however I imagine in the warmer months a reservation would probably be a good idea. A great spot for a date night or a group of friends. Loved the atmosphere, modern with nods to Stratfords Shakespearean history. Lots of paid (inexpensive) street parking.”

“Cozy restaurant with a great view of the river out back. I think tables 14, 15 and 16 look out over the river. Lots of nice seats everywhere though. Many tasty options with first class ingredients that will satisfy most foodies! Leave room for dessert! Ideally order all 4 choices and share! You can't go wrong! Excellent service!”

“Had a wonderful brunch, including the Plough persons lunch, and the Bubbles and Frites. The plough persons lunch was a charcuterie platter - not quite what I had expected. I was thinking it would be a hot dish - maybe my mistake. It was nevertheless tasty. The big winner was the Bubbles and Frites. We discovered in Icland that Prosecco goes wonderfly with Fish and Chips - so why not just with frites. And the frites were the among the all time best we have ever had. Delighfully golden, and so crispy!! Were it not for the minor disappointment with the Ploughperson, the food rating would have been a solid 5. For dessert we had cheesecake - very good, and nicely plated encircled by a tangy peach compote. Also a very tasty panna cotta with cherry compote. We ate on the small outdoor terrace, despite the threatening rain, which did hold off. It was cosy as other patrons decided to do the same. They had a nice musical selection of 70’s an 60's tunes playing soflty in the background which contributed to the atmosphere.”

“We had BLT salad for appetizer, as mains we got chicken cutlet, shrimp&jicama tacos, 3pc of cold oysters pair of bluebird g&t and Sauvignon blanc. Bronwyn was incredible, she was extremely kind and she had amazing recommendations. Thank you so much again!! Highly recommended!”
