“Food is art at Sage… the presentation and the colors are astounding. The flavors are unique (to me) and unforgettable. Enjoyed everything about the experience. Ordered the crispy fried Brussels sprouts for the wife… they were delicious and I don’t like sprouts. The Cheshire Pork Chop was incredible as well.”
“Sage has literally the best food of its kind in Tallahassee. The service was fantastic and the food was inventive and delicious. My only complaint is that the restaurant was a little dark for my taste. I appreciated the atmosphere but it was dark enough that I had trouble reading the menu. 10% brighter and I would give the atmosphere 5 stars too.”
“My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Sage and it was absolutely perfect. The redfish was outstanding—beautifully prepared and full of flavor—and my husband is still talking about how excellent the wagyu burger was. What truly made the night exceptional, though, was our server Sarah. She was warm, attentive, and made us feel genuinely celebrated without ever being overbearing. The service and food together made for a memorable evening, and we’ll absolutely be back. Highly recommend for a special occasion or a great date night.”
“We visited for an early Thanksgiving celebration. The food was incredible. The best meal we've had in years! We started with roasted brussell sprouts and escargo. Plenty to share and delicious! For our mains we had the trout (their specialty) and the BBQ pork chop. Both were amazing! 👏 Since the mac 'n cheese had good reviews we had a side of it. The mac 'n cheese is very tasty, but is very large. Even with a party of 3 we had to box it up. The desserts menu is very tempting, so we ended up sharing the caramel and apple cheesecake. Wow! So good! If you haven't been here, you need to! We don't live in Tally, but we will definitely be back!! Thank you for making it a special night for us, Sage! We'll done!”
“Friend recommended this restaurant, my mom and I went. Mom had the trout plate, it was swimming in brown butter and tasted like oil than butter. The flavor of the trout was drowned out by the brown butter as you can see in picture one. The mushrooms were amazing. I myself had the bbq pork chop, it was insanely delicious. It melted in my mouth, mom loved it too. The dessert was yummy, salted Carmel apple cider cheesecake. The waiter was very friendly and informative. He ran down the menu since we had many questions. The service was slow, each time we needed anything; refills, bread, the check took at least 5-10min It was a good experience, so is St.James in Thomasville.”
