“Shared a nice dinner with my wife at Wynona and it was an awesome time. They have a 5 course shared menu that was generous with portions, delicious, and a unique dining experience! The beets with toum and cotija was a standout appetizer! So much great flavour in the beets and you can soak up the sauce with the grilled bread. We also had the striploin. The puree and onion soubise were super tasty and the steak was cooked perfectly Overall a great experience, would highly recommend dining here. Great food and atmosphere!”
“Wynona is a special local spot with food that is fresh, tasty and shareable. Fantastic, creative wine list. Great place for date night or dinner with a small group. Stylish but not fussy and service is friendly and professional.”
“Tried the five course tasting menu. Everything was excellent. Well balanced menu with inventive dishes that exceed expectations through the thoughtful combination of textures and balance of flavours. Service was everything done right for an enjoyable experience throughout.”
“Edit: have to edit my review after my second visit here because it was again 10/10 experience. Got to try the new tasting menu and it was DELIGHTFUL. Service was amazing as always definitely not my last time being here :) The food is SO GOOD here. Been here for the first time today and I loved it!!! Me and my friend had the $75 shared 5-course and it was totally worth it. We got to try some items from the menu and the pasta changes everyday apparently decided by the chef. the one we had today was absolutely delicious. I would say it was a lot of food, very filling but you don't feel heavy after (if that makes sense). One thing I have to mention is the fresh ingredients, you can tell they are high quality and really the game changers. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and quick with their service. Highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back!”
“We ordered one main per person — the agnolotti (cajun shrimp, poppy seed crème fraîche), striploin (onion soubise, mizuna, jus), and branzino (brown butter, capers, olives) along with two starters to share: grilled bread and burrata (rhubarb compote). Overall, the experience felt underwhelming. The portions were noticeably small — even with each of us having a main and sharing starters, we left still hungry and ended up getting more food afterwards. In terms of flavors, the dishes leaned quite heavily towards acidity. While the sauces were clearly thoughtfully constructed and the combinations showed creativity, the overall balance didn’t quite come together for us. For example, the agnolotti lacked a distinct shrimp flavor despite being described as cajun shrimp, which made it less satisfying than expected. That said, there is clear effort in the execution — the sauces and plating reflect care and intention. The fish is quite good. However, the experience felt more conceptual than fulfilling, and didn’t quite deliver the comfort or depth we were hoping for. Overall, an interesting menu with creative ideas, but the portion size and flavor balance may not suit those looking for a more satisfying or traditional Italian dining experience.”
