“The patio was fantastic! Great views, atmosphere and shade except the music is a bit loud. They said they cannot turn it down either, otherwise wonderful! Short rib and smoked guacamole were outstanding! I liked the steak tartar too. The 8 layer carrot cake melted in my mouth. Icing was exquisite! 10/10”
“Had dinner at The Flying V Bar & Grill and the setting alone is worth the visit — beautiful mountain views, elegant atmosphere, and a great patio vibe, especially around sunset. The food and cocktails were excellent, with a nice upscale Southwestern twist. It’s definitely on the pricey side, but the overall experience, service, and ambiance made it feel like a special night out rather than just another dinner spot.”
“The Ambience is absolutely amazing here. We sat near the water. We saw the golf course. The flying V recently got renovated and it looks absolutely beautiful. For Mother’s Day we went to a beautiful 4 course meal here for dinner and were greeted by huge Havelina. Me, my mother, and my daughter had such a wonderful time. The food is absolutely amazing here.. The food is a very pricey, but it is worth every penny because it is cooked to perfection. They were very accommodative to the fact that I had a baby with me for Mother’s Day. Sara was our Waitress and she was so kind. This is the best Beef Wellington that I have ever had. It was such a beautiful experience and will start this as a tradition for every year.”
“We had an amazing experience here and will definitely be back! The tuna and salmon were some of the best we’ve had, and the drinks were very well balanced. Service was quick and frequent. My fiancé’s gluten allergy / celiac disease was able to be accommodated through communication with our server, though the menu could have been clearer about what items are actually safe for allergies. Entrees average $40-$50 dollars, though the taste, atmosphere, and views make it well worth the visit.”
“Flying V Bar & Grill: Elevated Service, Stunning Views, and a Touch of Desert Charm What began as a quick stop for drinks before closing turned into one of the most memorable dining experiences we’ve had in a while. Flying V Bar & Grill delivers on ambiance in a big way—the patio overlooks a serene desert landscape accented by a beautifully lit water fountain. It’s the kind of setting that invites you to slow down and take it all in. The bartender was welcoming and attentive, graciously seating us outside even as the evening wound down. Shortly after, we were greeted by Cole, our server, whose hospitality was exceptional. He was personable, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making our visit special. His recommendations were spot-on, and he even introduced us to a local raccoon who occasionally visits the patio—wild, cautious, and surprisingly charming. We enjoyed a couple of expertly crafted cocktails, then decided to order scallops and crème brûlée to go after seeing and smelling them at a nearby table. Cole had everything packed quickly and professionally. Once home, the food didn’t disappoint—the scallops were perfectly seared, and the crème brûlée was rich, smooth, and indulgent. Flying V blends upscale dining with laid-back warmth, and the service—from bar to table—was seamless. We’ll absolutely be back to explore more of the menu. If you're looking for a place that pairs great food with unforgettable views and genuine hospitality, this one’s a standout.”
