“Started off dinner with perfectly cooked fried green tomatoes topped with feta & balsamic/apricot spread. Main course was perfectly cooked pistachio tuna with wasabi aioli and twice baked skillet potatoes w/cheese & bacon & roasted hot honey carrots. Dessert was a key lime pie and banana pudding cheesecake both were very sweet and delicious this was an amazing dinner literally the best meal that I have had on the island. ”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Soooooo... Im sorry if the restaurant may not like me sharing this... BUT to tell the reason I ate from Sundae's.... We REALLY needed to use the restroom and asked to buy something to be allowed to use a cleaner restroom, than the one outside. So mad I didn't get his name, but the bartender allowed us to use it without purchasing... THANK YOU, YOU'RE SOOO AWESOME❤️❤️🙏🏽🙏🏽. When finished I insisted on purchasing in 'appreciation'. I wanted fish and he suggested the blackened fl and suggested sides as well... (YES I'M ABOUT TO BE EXTRA AS HECK ABOUT THE FOOD LOL ...but seriously) THAT WAS SOME OF THE BEST FOOD I HAVE HAD IN A WHILE.. the fish was DELICIOUS and that pimento squash side (not sure of the exact name) WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING... DONT YOU EVER GO THERE AND NOT TRY IT‼️‼️‼️ My only thing is, although the mac and cheese was also great, I wouldn't order it along with the pimento squash side to allow for something else without cheese... Im soooo happy I purchased food there "in appreciation " lol... 10 outta 10 dammit‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️”
“Sundae’s Cafe on Tybee Island is an absolute gem! From start to finish, the experience was exceptional. We began with the Apricot Demi–glazed fried green tomatoes topped with balsamic reduction and feta cheese—a delicious and unexpected twist on a Southern classic that set the tone for the evening. For dinner, I had the special crab-stuffed flounder served with Brussels sprouts and collards, and it was outstanding. Each dish had its own unique flavor profile, clearly crafted with creativity and care, and every bite left us wanting more. Sundae’s Cafe offers a memorable dining experience that will definitely have you coming back again and again. Reservations are highly recommended—and for good reason!”
“Fabulous food, amazing service and wonderful drinks. White chocolate raspberry martini, to die for. Banana pudding cheese cake, please give me a whole pie. The food was absolutely absolutely delicious. Not one complaint. Blue cheese bread pudding. Steak with Bleu cheese crust, off the wall. Twice baked skillet potatoes .. please just sell these in 5 gallon bucket with a fork. Fantastic fabulous amazing food”
“This place was a mixed bag. It is located in a small strip mall that is connected to a gas station, located on the expensive island of Tybee Island. Obviously the prices are gonna be inflated, which is expected. This place left me yearning for more, could be that my in-laws gassed it up so much that i expected to be served food on gold plates. The interior was a bit dark and felt dingy. The food is mostly locally sourced and it is advertised on the menu as such. For the prices I expect good food, and I think every single person made at least 1 gripe about something on their plate. It was good, but i felt something to be desired in almost everything we ate. I enjoyed myself and my company, i think id give it one more chance.”
