“My son wanted to take me out for Father's Day dinner something different and new to us. The food that we got was absolutely amazing flavors were subtle and not slap in the face kind of flavor but very good and nothing like I've ever had before. The service we received was absolutely above and beyond not ones that we have to look around if we needed something are drinks were kept full as well as our water and there was always someone there if we needed. The cheerfully answered all of our questions about the meals. Definitely got to come back here with my wife as this is an amazing place a Hidden Gem truly. I will add once again the owners definitely have been blessed by absolutely fantastic staff. Are whole experiences there is not one negative take on it and well worth the extra money.”
“Visited Oxbow with friends/partner for the first time on September 12, 2025. Reservations are recommended for prime times, as it’s a small place. They have a dining area, lounge and patio. I loved the building with the exposed brick inside, moody lighting with candles, and wood tables with bench seating. It was a really cool vibe! The menu has dishes that are meant for sharing. They have a good selection of dishes that can be made vegan and/or gluten free. They even had an entire separate gluten-free menu which wasn’t advertised online, so make sure to ask. We ordered the patatas bravas (French fry like potato wedges with a mix of sauces on top), pasta dish (not advertised on the regular menu - but it was gluten free rigatoni noodles with a vegan cashew cream sauce. This was my fave!), roasted carrots (in a sweet and slightly spicy sauce), and Brussels sprouts (raw, mixed in a coleslaw like salad with puffed rice and sauce). The pasta dish and potato one were my favourites but everything tasted great and the dishes were unique and creative. Would definitely visit here again and want to try the tomato dish as well. They did not have any desserts that were vegan and gluten free but one or the other. They also have an extensive wine menu along with cocktails. The service was fantastic. I will be back!”
“Went on a Sunday night with a colleague, half priced bottles of wine and everything the server suggested. ;) The tuna tartare was incredible! 10/10 best I’ve ever had and the polenta fries were amazing. The cacio e pepe gnocchi was a little much for us, but still good.”
“This was a very unexpected surprise at this local eatery. The ambiance was quaint and rustic. Our servers were fantastic and were attentive to every detail. Most importantly the food. We ordered around 20 different dishes to share. I can’t complain about a single dish. We will be coming back to this wonderful place. February 5, 2025. Second visit and just as good. This place is a must try especially if anyone in your party is vegan!”
“Service was good. Atmosphere was cozy. And the sharing plates concept is a very nice way to spend an evening with friends. I would say the menu items we had were very good. However, I would strongly advise you to stay away from the "tinned fish", either mackeral or sardine. Paying 20 bucks for an open tin of mackeral with a small side of mayo is a ridiculous price considering the input costs and the lack of any prep time or energy whatsoever. The balance of the food was, as I said very tasty and worth the coin.”
