Colby Hill Inn is a farm-to-table driven and eco-friendly country inn in New Hampshire. We operate the 56-seat Grazing Room restaurant and 14 guest rooms. “What can I say about Colby Hill Inn except how much of a beacon of rest, recovery, and relaxation it is. I attend Residency at the nearby New England College every semester and after 10 hour of class straight, it's incredible to come back to a place like Colby Hill for the night. Beautiful grounds, quaint and comfy rooms (a bit exposed to the weather but hey, it's not a new build and they provide ample heat or cooling modalities), great food, great gift items in the shop. Besides all this, the people at Colby Hill really bring it all together. They are super understanding and accommodating of our extremely packed Residency schedule, and despite that they take care of us with things like early breakfast, late checkout and coffee to go. September '26 may well be my last Residency and while I'm so glad I'll be done with this degree, a part of me is super sad I won't have a ready made excuse to stay here again. Absolute pro-tip: the goats are not to be missed!”
“What an amazing place Colby is! I was floored at the hospitality of each employee there. What a wonderful group going above and beyond without even trying their gentle attention to their guests without being overbearing. The Colby was clean and attentive and attention to every detail that made our stay feel welcoming and comfortable. The food was amazing as well as the kitchen staff even coming out to make sure the fire was always burning for us especially Chris. Jonus was top notch with personality and knowledge. Jeff was unbelievably in tune and made our stay so memorable and wonderful. His skills are above average!!! Emily was smiling which lit up the room. She was amazing and did her job fantastically above and beyond. This place is run perfectly! I couldn’t ask for anything better than the Colby! Simply amazing!!”

Our room was gorgeous and being able to have a real fireplace in our room was unforgettable. In the morning, we had a superb breakfast that we can't say enough good things about! “The Colby Hill Inn is a hidden gem. My daughter was married there in September. In addition to having the wedding inside their rustic & picturesque barn, we also had an absolutely gorgeous "Into the Woods" themed rehearsal dinner outdoors the night before. When I saw the tables outside, they were so beautifully decorated that I think I may have cried. Also, a large number of our out-of-state guests stayed at the inn for the weekend and were blown away by the quaint setting, phenomenal food, and amazing staff. Jeff and Emily (in particular) went above and beyond in EVERY aspect of the experience- from helping us stay within our budget, to organizing the entire weekend and printing up beautiful place settings and menus, to accommodating additional last minute guests, and gracefully handling changes, special requests, & unexpected surprises. Many of our guests have commented that it was the "best wedding they had ever been to, " and that the food was consistently amazing! I have to whole heartedly agree. Thank you to Jeff and to everyone at Colby Hill for giving my daughter her dream wedding.”
