“Took my wife and small dog for Valentine's day brunch today after making a reservation. Warmly greeted by lovely friendly staff. The food and beverage choices were very good on menu. We were served promptly and our dog was offered a dog treat. The Dough breakfast was excellent, high quality items on the plate. Superb scrambled eggs on toast for my wife with a side of exceptionally delicious haloumi cheese. A very cute cafe with attentive staff. Thank you.”

“We recently visited Dough in Hereford to try their breakfast menu and overall had a pleasant experience, with a few areas that could be improved. On arrival, we were greeted and invited to choose any table, which was a nice relaxed start. We were given menus and found there to be a good selection of breakfast options. I chose the Dough breakfast, while my wife opted for eggs on toast, and we also ordered a mix of hot and cold drinks. Our order was taken promptly, and the food arrived in around 15 minutes, which felt reasonable. The quality of the food was good, and everything was well presented. However, the portion of sausage included in the breakfast was quite small, which was a little disappointing given the £15 price point. Unfortunately, the service towards the end of our visit let things down. When we were ready to pay, it was difficult to get the attention of the server, who seemed preoccupied. We didn’t receive eye contact or a clear acknowledgment while waiting, and there was no real check-in during the meal to see if everything was okay. We also didn’t feel particularly thanked when leaving, which impacted the overall impression. It would also be great to see additional options on the menu, such as avocado. In summary, the food quality was good and the setting was enjoyable, but the service experience could be improved. With better attentiveness, this is somewhere we would happily return to.”
