Gruet Winery & Tasting Room - Santa Fe

“I’ve been a long time fan of Gruet and it was fun to visit the tasting room. The $20 flight fee is quite reasonable and the pours are generous (although I spit when I taste). The one mistake I made and always forget: let the wines warm up. When served chilled it’s hard to differentiate between the (same varietal) offerings.”

“Wines: high quality wine from French grapes in New Mexico. I love their options and especially fancy their Savage line. Vibe: nestled in the gorgeous and historical St Francis hotel near Cafe Pascual, this wine bar could not check more of my boxes: vigas, beautiful bar, great seating options, good beats Service: Alli is my favorite human. I’ve followed her from another wine bar to Gruet and she makes that experience even better. She is knowledgeable without ever seeming snotty. She is funny and kind while also having great recs for wine snobs like myself. Thank you!”
