“Another great breakfast. This was the first time having their Full English having enjoyed their excellent Eggs Benedict/Royale on previous visits. The homemade baked beans really elevate it above other Full English breakfasts in the town. The quality of all the ingredients was superb.”
“What a gem of a place. I would go here all the time if I lived closer, the locals are so lucky to have this on their doorstep. A much bigger menu than the last time I went with plenty of choice and a great variety of dishes to suit every craving! Highly recommend the Korean fried chicken and salmon lox! Finishing off with the french toast of course. Have done the chef’s table before which was such a special experience and hopefully will be able to come back again very soon to try it again. Rob & his team have something seriously special here and I just wish I lived closer.”
“We had gone for mother's day and had gone early so was still pretty quiet. The food was amazing. I ordered the hamlet stack and was glad i did. The pancakes are not true America pancakes but still very nice. The mixed berry compote is a stand out. Crosaints were also fresh and very well made.”
“A nice informal diner in Wokingham. Serves all day brunch, coffee and small plate options. Clearly popular, glad we reserved a table. Brunch menu is quite large, the small plates menu is small but good quality. Had Korean style chicken and squid, both very nice. Beef Ragu also good. Eggs Benedict highly recommended as well. Like the food menu, the wine list is small but good quality. Friendly and helpful staff.”
“Had english breakfast. Egg and tomato were little overcooked. Sausage, bacon, black pudding were fine. Toast didn't feel premium, beans were weird and different and would've been fine if they had much less sugar. Breakfast was ok but nothing to suggest fairly high price tag £15.50. English tea was extra £3.50 and wasn't great. Juice was frobishers in a 250ml bottle and is great but crazy at £5.50. Service was fine and prompt. Seemed to be lacking atmosphere, even when it started to fill up. Prices are high and not sure why. £24.50 for an english breakfast, tea and orange juice is on the high side.”
