“4 out of five for the vodkas by themselves. We get our quarterly box and enjoy the flavored vodkas everytime. The distillery and wvent area is super nice with plenty of room. Come here just for the drinks they make, if anything! We tried soooo many options, the gentleman (whom I cannot remember his name) suuuuper nice, friendly, gave items, told us about award winning drinks he has made. Overall a nice experience!!”

Do you want you want to switch up your wine tasting opps in Napa and Sonoma? How about vodka tasting? Well if that sparks an interest, check out Hanson of Sonoma Distillery in Sonoma, CA, on Highway 12.
They make organic vodka infused with real fruit. It's award winning. $25 tastings six vodka flights. $75 tasting with a tour of the distillery. They have other assorted tasting flights $35 plus and cocktails $15. Some of the vodka infused flavors are habanero, mandarin orange, meyer lemon and cucumber. They also have infused gin and whiskey. They have small bites as well.
The tasting room has great all around vibes. Friendly, down to earth staff. Right when I stepped in, I noticed the design aesthetics. I liked the full bar look with the stacked shelves and the lounge area. Beautiful, modern tasting room. The building outdoor grounds has a pond and seating area. However when I visited, the entire pond water surface was covered with algae. But I'm sure they'll work to clean that up making it picture perfect; the outdoor garden and landscaping is quite beautiful.”

We visited Hanson Distillery with a group of seven, and it was such a fun and memorable experience. We’ve done plenty of wine tastings in the past, but this was something completely different—and we absolutely loved it.
The cocktail and vodka tasting was excellent, with a great variety and creative flavors. The staff was attentive, friendly, and really listened to our preferences when preparing drinks, which made the experience feel personalized and special.
The pizza was also surprisingly good—definitely worth mentioning!
Overall, it was a fantastic outing, and we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something beyond the usual wine tasting in Sonoma.”

“Instead of wine if you would like to taste vodka this could be a perfect place in Sonoma, CA. This was my first vodka tasting and experience was top notch. Staffs are friendly and professional. They know what they are doing and knowable about their vodka. We also tried caviar 👌. For tour you can book it online, they only have one slot at 11am. But for tasting, you may book online or just walk in. I wish they could have more tour slots. They have plenty of parking.”

“This was an impulse stop and I'm so glad I did. The grounds are gorgeous! Hanson's is dog friendly. The vodka is perfect for Napa - made from grapes. I sampled 6 vodkas including traditional and flavored. My server was so nice (and he loved my dog, so there's extra big points!) So much fun and a nice change from traditional wine tasting.”
