Utah's first legal distillery since 1870 - nestled in the Wasatch Mountains outside Park City. Choose from guided distillery tours, exclusive whiskey tastings, and mountain dining at The Refectory - or combine them for a full afternoon. Before you arrive: All guests park at the base of Blue Sky Ranch and take our shuttle up to the distillery. Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your reservation. Reservations open 30 days in advance. “We had an opportunity to visit High West this afternoon. Unfortunately we arrived just as they were closing. The gentleman who met us at the distillery entrance was Super Accommodating. I introduced myself to them as the Distiller who trained their former blender and he went out of his way to show us the production floor. While we did not get a formal tour, we were allowed to take a few photos of the distillery room, barrel room and former bottling area. I picked up a bottle of their Bottled in Bond Bourbon Whiskey, and a bottle of their American Single Malt Whiskey and a few swag items...... “A gem in the middle of the mountains! Wonderful experience taking the library tour which grants you access to tasting from every bottle they’ve ever made. The tour guide Cole was knowledgeable and friendly! The tour ends at the tasting where you get one free tasting and the ability to al carte tasting from any of their products. The distillery is beautiful. There is a restaurant in case you want to just come in for some food, drinks and tastings there. There’s a shop where you can buy some bottles and merch. There’a plenty of parking down at the parking lot and you’ll have to take a shuttle up so plan accordingly and allow for an extra ten minutes for the shuttle and to get there early for a tour.”
“A must visit place; the restaurant and bar have some strange hours, so make sure to check on that before the visit. We did the Library tour with Tess and it was incredible! She was super knowledgeable and funny! A great tour with an even better tasting after! The views from the library room were great and their selections of whiskey were too notch!”
