Hill Farmstead Brewery is the culmination of many years of travel and insight—of experience and education—of friendships and explorations. Our taproom is open to all Weds. through Sat., 11:30 - 5 p.m. and Sundays 11:30 - 3 p.m., in parallel with our retail shop, which offers cans, bottles, shirts, and more for takeaway. The brewery is the revival and continuation of 220 years of Hill heritage and hand-crafted history in North Greensboro, Vt. Our mission is to change the beer industry by creating ripples of influence and introspection and utilize our beer as a vehicle for sharing our values and ideals and promoting the tenets of Conscious Consumption, Conscious Belonging, Conscience+Commerce, and Education & Dialogue.

“I'm honestly shocked I never reviewed this. Hill Farmstead is one of the most renowned breweries in the world, and my two visits have absolutely proved it. The flagships that they are known for (Edward and Marie) were not the highlights for me: it was their small-batch stuff. Earl is legitimately the best coffee stout I've ever had, while their anniversary blonde ale was fantastic as well. Combine their world-class beers with a beautiful farm setting with the rolling hills in view, and you have a brewery visit that will exceed all expectations.”
“I never write reviews but I have to say going to Hill Farmstead the past 2 days has been the greatest experience I have ever had in the beer community. The beer itself, was insanely delicious, the best I have ever had. Everything was poured with care and explained to me so I truly understood what I was drinking. But the service and hospitality from Gabe and Devon(Devin), at the bar was next level. They took the time to explain to me what I was drinking and the story behind each pour. They gave wonderful recommendations while I worked through the menu and even helped me choose where to go later in the day for drinks and dinner. Gabe and Devon truly made Hill Farmstead a very warm, welcoming, and wonderful experience. I have traveled all around the world for beer but being able to enjoy beers on the Hill was something I will never forget. Cheers!”
“Was up from FL and had to make the trek to HF…and was so glad I did. From the beers, scenery, and staff, everything was fantastic. Samuel and Memoria were some of the best beers I’ve had on the trip, and I’ve been to some of the top NE breweries so far. Highly recommend to anyone within a few hour’s drive as it’s worth the visit!”
“Delicious Beer! This Brewery is the Gold Star in craftsmanship in every aspect of beer, which will shine through in every beer style they release! Staff definitely has a strong northern hospitality, which comes with great knowledge and professionalism. Service was seriously top notch. Definitely do your research into their rules and policy around your visit. We came when reservations were required and drink limits were enforced, which makes sense once you understand where they are located and how delicious their beer tastes. They have a beer membership, but good luck getting into the club it’s known to be extremely exclusive. Definitely a dream membership to have, but will never happen. Their grounds are vast and beautiful especially when leafs are changing. Overall this brewery is a must visit if you’re a beer lover!”
