Since receiving approval from the City, we’ve been actively working through the next phase—securing building permits and preparing for construction. As anyone who has ever built or renovated anything knows, the process has a way of taking on a life of its own. Plans evolve, details matter, and timelines… well, they tend to stretch. Add in the realities of permitting and approvals, and let’s just say we are moving forward—enthusiastically—at what might best be described as the “speed of government.” That said, we are genuinely encouraged by the progress being made. Each step brings us closer, and we’re excited about what Vineyard Point will become when it reopens—expanded, improved, and ready to welcome you back in a meaningful way. Our goal remains to complete the work as soon as possible, and we truly appreciate your patience as we navigate this process thoughtfully and thoroughly. “Sitting and vibes are good. Short distance from Bay Area cities. Food options are limited. They allow to bring your own food on specific days. Would recommend to get some bites to enjoy with wine.”
“We had such a lovely day at House Family Vineyards enjoying their wine flight. The views are absolutely stunning. The $30 flight included 5 wines (2 whites and 3 reds). I’m not usually a Pinot Noir or Zinfandel fan, but I really enjoyed theirs + the Cabernet Sauvignon was excellent. We paired our tasting with the Charcuterie and Cheese kit, which was delicious. Highly recommend visiting for the wine, the atmosphere, and the friendly staff!”
“Although their main deck is not open the secondary deck overlooking a small valley behind the hill of Saratoga is also great! Tasted Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and was impressed. No need to go to Napa in order to have some nice wine and great serene atmosphere”
“Got a late start on the day w a friend and only was able to arrive 5 minutes til their close. They were very obliging and made us feel no different. The sampling of four was quite enjoyable although maybe one more variety would have helped filled out the experience a bit more as four seemed to go by a tad quick. Each varietal was well crafted and the Merlot was a pleasant surprise. Overall solid, consistent delivery and oh, that view over the whole valley. Downtown SJ and Apple Park were clearly in sight. Great seating, too, as evidenced by all the happy clientele.”
