“We had an amazing lunch experience in the new Italian Villa on Calkins Lane which is their old estate. The Villa is beautiful and they do host weddings as well. Our lunch was wonderful 5 courses and just two of us and the owner said instead if canceling they wanted to offer us lunch. Apparently they just started doing lunches. The owner gave us a tour of the property and the winery and barrel room. It was such a lovely afternoon and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We cant wait to go back!! Thanks Lachini and staff!!”
“We had a great time at this beautiful vineyard! It was such a perfect wine tasting experience - the view was serene and the hosts, Tyler and Ellen, were amazing. In the next few weeks, they will be opening up their new Tuscan inspired building/venue which is sure to impress! It will be a definite must-visit winery in the Willamette Valley! We spent the Memorial Day weekend in Oregon and our favorite and most fun/enjoyable time was relaxing at Lachini vineyards!”
“Lachini is amazing! The environment and staff is welcoming and kind. Emily the manager, goes above and beyond to make my experience personal and fun. The wine is wonderful and isn’t overly sweet. Their Chardonnay is the best!!”
“I recently visited with a large group of Asian women for a bachelorette party, and the experience was very disappointing. To start, the staff felt incredibly unprepared. One of the girls in our group quietly informed the waitress about an allergy. Instead of handling it discreetly, the waitress loudly and rudely announced the allergy to everybody. This was incredibly unprofessional and embarrassing. Later, when we were trying to take a group photo, the waitress made a comment in an Asian language. When we asked what she said, she told us "Happy New Year," even though it was months past. This was incredibly weird, awkward, and completely out of place, especially since we were all Asian. Overall, the service was shockingly inappropriate and made us feel very uncomfortable. I would not recommend this place for any group, especially if you value respectful and professional service.”
“We had high hopes when we booked a large party at this winery in advance, but unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing—bordering on offensive. First, the staff was clearly unprepared to handle our group, even though we gave plenty of notice and confirmed ahead of time. Service was withholding tastings, disorganized, and the passive-aggressive attitude of our waitress set an uncomfortable tone from the start. Things got worse when we were told to say something in a different language for a picture—a language that is not ours, nor one connected to our ethnicity. Whether it was meant to be funny or not, it was inappropriate, insensitive, and frankly, racist. To top it off, they tried to overcharge us—by over $1,000. Pricing on our bill didn’t match what we were originally quoted, and thankfully the owner cooperated with us- still very unusual how the bill came to be that high, and then we noticed the sparkling water was changed from $4 to $10 on our new bill. Many hidden fees on our original bill…It felt like they were trying to pull one over on us, which is completely unacceptable at any business, let alone one that charges premium prices. Sadly, what could have been a beautiful day ended in frustration and offense. We won’t be returning, and I would not recommend this winery to anyone—especially those looking for a welcoming or respectful environment.”
