“July. 13, 2025: Very happy to see another restaurant open in Boundary Bay Airport with it’s added benefit of watching small planes and the odd helicopters coming and going. This particular Saturday was very busy inside and out on the patio…..and a little noisy as air traffic was constant. There’s nicely shaded tables as well as a few in full sun depending on time of day. The servers kept up as best they could. We were seated right away, ordered shortly after and food arriving not too long after. We ordered a Captains Breakfast $18.95, Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwich $19.95 and the Gold Standard Classic Benny $19.95. Everything was perfectly cooked, nicely presented and delicious. They also offer bakery items from their Tsawwassen location. Reservations are recommended for weekend brunch. We used to come during the week when it was Skyhawk Restaurant and it was much less busy. All forms of payment accepted. Plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessible.”

“We ate here during their soft opening day. The food and service was fantastic! Very fair prices, a great location with a neat atmosphere at the little local Airport. Fun for families to watch the planes and helicopters come and go. We had the Bacon Burger, the Pesto Chicken Sandwich and the Beet root salad, all delicious!...Love a place with excellent coffee too! House brewed Americano's and Lattes etc. Congrats on such a great opening! *Edited to add more pictures from our recent visit today...still great food and service! Was neat to see my review food pics used on their in house menu! :)”

“After having come regularly to the restaurant that was formerly here, I was surprised to find a new one in it's place, so we had to try this out. I ordered a Captain's Breakfast, and my work colleagues ordered burgers. What immediately struck me was all 4 dishes presented themselves as kind of dry. Nothing wrong with the food, but still, needing some kind of sauce on the side, or else it would be a thirsty meal. Even a tiny bit of salad would be good. Also the toast arrived with no jams available, which was formerly provided on the table. Two of us ordered gravies, which made an amazing difference (the gravy is amazing!). All in all, the food was great, apart from the above, which would have made them 5/5.”

“I have been there 4 times since the new owners took over. The first time was amazing! The food, service and general atmosphere were all very good. The next 3 times were also very good. However, today, I was very disappointed. The food was still very good but it seemed like they were disorganized. The waitress we had was new and in training we were told so, OK, I can give her a pass. But what was most disturbing was the dirty dishes on all the empty tables from previous customers. We were asked to wait, standing, for several minutes while a table was cleaned. That was after we had stood there for about 5 minutes. After the table was cleaned, another 5-10 min. we were seated with menus. Nothing happened for another 10 minutes, no coffee, no water, no waitress. Eventually, she showed up and took our orders, which included coffee. About 15-20 minutes later our orders came but they were the wrong ones. So, waitress went back, did some checking and came back with the correct orders, still no coffee. Finally, one coffee showed up. We had both ordered coffee so she went back and brought another one. Never came back to see if we wanted a second cup. When we finished the meal we had to wave our arms to get some attention and the bills, which we got after about another 10 minutes. During all this time no other tables were cleaned other than if someone came and they needed a table. More training and supervision of staff needed! We may go back again, but not sure at this point.”
